Gaming Nintendo Network ID...safe or no?

so, in my new 3ds, it just downloaded the nintendo video "icon" from spot pass, and it prompts me to go in the eshop download the app, inside the eshop it prompts me to link a nintendo id

how do i remove the space consuming nintendo video icon without go through the download to uninstall it?

i dont even thiink it would work with multiple accounts, all the content would be linked to each individual account. and the warning screen says deleting a NNID deletes all games associated with the account and any money.

hopefully pokemon bank wont be free app, so it wont require NNID. and maybe we dont need pokemon bank, i heard it was going to be a paid service.

Well Wii U works with multiples NNIDs, and about the Pokebank, i think it will be free and the payment will be made in the app itself, but i hope im wrong.

go into settings, data management, 3DS, Software. you can delete individual software from here.

If the above fails, move it all the way to the right where you'll never see it (each time you pass a certain amount of icons, you get more space so you can move it even further to the right). It's what I did to the Health and Safety thing.

i tried this before posting
it doesn's show up in all data management categories... i think because the app is not installed, just the icon is there...

i just moved into a folder named "trash" with the health and safety thing
but i which i could really remove it...

new question, so i have some eshop games and euros left on my eshop, i wanted to create a nintendo network id, so i can get the free super mario deluxe code, if later i unlink\remove the nnid will i still be able to use my balance and games i bought previously from the eshop?

No. If you link an NNID, all digital content on that system become linked to that NNID automatically. Removing the NNID will remove access to that content. Why would you need to remove the NNID again anyway?

i don't want it since is just one more DRM.... i don't care about miiverse...

can some other people confirm this?

its on the warning message before you try to link a NNID,
"deleting a NNID will delete all content and eshop funds"
"you cannot change the region if you link NNID"

or some such thing.

yep, that is pretty much me, worried about loosing my money spent on "digital goods" because my friend made a dick draw on miiverse....

i had spend a lot of moners on my steam, and i sadly get keylogged once, and got my account stealed, i did get my account back with no problems, i had luck the "hacker" didn't used my account for "vac testing" and get me vac banned, but as i see nintendo, if something tiny happens they rush banning the entire thing and i loose my games...

Well, for your peace of mind, if they ban you from Miiverse, they will not delete your NNID or your eShop purchases. They only ban you from Miiverse, that is it. About your experience with a stolen Steam account, that obviously must have sucked, not cool that people exist trying to do these kind of things. But with Nintendo the stuff you buy is ultimately linked to the console you bought it on, unless you decide to delete your NNID (which is different from being banned).
