So, I'm one of the lucky people who is able to have downloaded the game from the PS Store. This exploit will be available on www.wololo.net later.

If you have a 3.01 Vita you might want to keep checking wololo since TN-V4 will be coming and this'll mean you will be able to play alot of emulators, psp and psx backups on your Vita.

I can't wait till TN-V4 will be released so I can play Digimon World (200)3 on my Vita, which is one of my favourite games.

Cause as soon as its public knowledge, they will push out 3.02 update and patch it, they are being very cautious as TN-V4 is nearly out, Its more a respect thing. They have a routine that they follow for releases, and chances are if you are one of the members that get it early, you wouldnt share openly anyway, on top of that sony are very quick to pull the game from the store if they find out

It's a party game which costs €9,99. I won't say anything else about the game, and won't tell it via pm. If you want to know about these ninja releases you need to make a account on www.wololo.net/talk I would hate to be the person that leaked the game.

Thanks I have the game now but I don't want to lose access to PSN as I use the store a lot as well as using my Vita with PS4.
Has anyone got their Vita banned for using PSP hacks?
I literally only want it for GBA emulation and 1 or 2 PSP games.

Keep in mind that as soon as a PSV update is available (probably soon) you'll lose PSN acess anyway unless you want to update and lose the hack again.

You can't get banned using the exploits. You will lose PS Store access, but I've read that you can bypass this using a PS3/PS4 and transfering it from there to the Vita. It was also possible using OpenCMA, but it has been patched as far as I know.

With the Vita having so much more processing power than the PSP is the Vita GBA emulator any better than the PSP version. When using the GBA emulator on my PSP I dealt with a fair amount of crackling audio.

You'll have the same limitations that you have on a PSP.

afaik the PSV emulates the PSP, on the lastest firmware it even has the limitation of 32MB of RAM.

no the hacks are in psp mode only, similar to using a ds mode flashcart on the 3ds, there are no access to 3ds features. (so, there is not access to the 'vita' features)

Like other people said, the vita uses the emulated psp game for the exploit to work. This means that we can't use the full power of the Vita for homebrew and emulators yet. Since firmware 2.12, it is possible to let psp games run on 64mb ram instead of 32, thus the available ram has increased.

I wish the new Vita had a user replaceable battery. One of the great PSP advantages is being able to spend the extra cash for a battery which can last ten hours. So even if I were to buy a Vita and have the PSP mode hack I'd still be dealing with the rather short battery life. With the poor Vita sales who knows if Sony will even invest in another revised model.

I think the battery life on a Vita playing in PSP mode is pretty good actually. Certainly a lot longer than a standard PSP lasts anyway. Granted, you'll only squeeze 3-4 hours out of a Vita in Vita mode, but playing PSP games I can get over 6 hours out of a single charge which to me is pretty good.

It is not that hard to replace battery inside a Vita.

Plus you can purchase external USB battery and connect it to your VIta to charge during gameplay. Just make sure that external USB battery you bought can deliver 1.5 A per USB port.

I hate ordering stuff online if I can go buy it somewhere close to me, and everywhere anymore will give you a discount only if you order it online, bs. Should be a discount if I go pick it up, not order online.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I love it for most things most stores you just shows the receipt online and they scan it

Makes it easy for incompetent restaurant staff that don't know how to hear an order
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Mostly for big purchases, I want it in my hands before I pay. Like a tv, I trust picking it up myself, before I'd trust it being sent thru mail/delivery. (Broken screen, etc) But yea if I can order online, then pickup at store is ok, but not all places offer that.

Thing is, if you break it driving back to your house, it's your fault. But if the delivery driver damages it, it's not your fault.

Most people that haul big tvs have empty trucks or know enough not to set it face down
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Then I gotta send it back and wait another week or two. I have a pickup truck, with a extended cab, so no prob for me.
