can I use the r4i update to my gateway (blue card) so it can run on fw 6.3??

no because the Gateway Blue card is clone card and 6.1.0 is the best its going to get

Not true. Tha gateway team or an independent person can update his firmware.

It's an Ace3DS+/ Ace3DS+ clone. You can't update it.
