I believe I have bricked my Wii. I was going along following the tutorial provided by ModMii and was upgrading my Wii from 4.2U to 4.3U. After all of the installation, I was able to check that I had updated everything, the menu said that it was on 4.3U as well. The Wii is from around the original launch time, and the last thing I had installed via wads were the Forwarder channels for USB Loader GX, and unfortunately, I wasn't able to get Priiloader in time.
Upon restarting the Wii, I get a black screen, nothing else. Is there anything I could possibly do to unbrick it? This is very nervewracking and I can only hope there's anything to fix it. If there's also any other information I could provide, I'll see what I can do.

Priiloader means nothing. You should have BootMii installed on your SD card. This will work with any systems made before late 2008. Oh, and if you must install the forwarder channels, do it on your computer. My experience is that installing those bonus features from your Wii is unsafe and will most likely brick your Wii.

not quite true, if you know what you are exactly doing it isn't gonna brick.

anyway your only hope now is savemii(frii) or a hardware nand restore (assuming you didn't install bootmii as boot2).

Okay, it apparently isn't a full brick after checking. Apparently, the Wii doesn't like the SD card being in the slot upon booting up, and thus gives the black screen. But, whenever I boot it up without the SD card, it goes into a normal boot with the health screen. Is there any way to avoid the black screen with the SD card? Is it something that the Wii's detecting in the actual SD? I'm not quite sure what's causing it.

Yes, you've installed something wrong in your SD card. I'd say take everything off except the HBC and put BootMii on there before you do anything else. Then insert it, and if you get a black screen, you might get a new SD card or format the one you have already.
