Hacking 3ds action replay coming soon?

Hello GBATEMP as some Pokemon fans may know there are 3 new Pokemon that a hacker found in the game now I'm saying this under the assumption this is true

Now, recently an individual on Facebook has found a way to tinker with their copy of X and Y and has discovered the three Pokémon in their game. Apparently they were found by using some kind of RAM editing with a fully hardware hacked 3DS and with the recent partial decryption of the file system. While the Levels are likely not representative of how they would actually appear we get a good look at the Pokémon, and it’s safe to say they appear to be based off types of energy creation.
And serbii is saying it is some elite hacker who can be trusted.(its smealum the guy who made the custom firmware for the 3ds)
Then he said this i do NOT intend to release the hack or any of these pokemon. would
be fun to wondertrade them in theory but don't want to ruin online.
If this is true and AR cards come soon what will this mean for the 3DS (hacking wise).

why more advanced? I don't know what they would have to change. probably all they will need are software updates to support new games (in fact I read that power saves can't be used on pokemon X & Y and other recent games).

Yeah that makes sense since he was able to hack x and y maybe he is going to make his own AR card or hacking pokemon was his hobby?

Its the same guy who made the 3ds custom firmware

Doesnt work on newer games i keep up with 3ds hacking scene and i cant belive i never heard of this

Having witnessed this happening as it err happens this is an interesting assessment of the events.

First the mysterious/elite hacker is actually Smea/Smealum, a member of this site, a regular of our IRC channel and homebrew developer of an awful lot of good DS homebrew.
His 3DS is modded, though it is a software driven modification rather than a hardmod. He is not the only one to have such a 3ds but the information on how to do it is not public knowledge.
The pokemon stuff came as part of a nand redirection thing that allowed him to run a version of the current firmware (which newer games tend to want) but keep it in a hackable state.
Seen as he has hacked firmwares though he can get in and manipulate the memory a bit. If you can edit/dump memory you can make cheats of a sort and that is what happened here.

AR devices usually come about when it is a financially viable move for the developers of such devices (companies like Datel), as they would be playing hack, counterhack I am not sure it would be that easy. Likewise though Datel do have their own hackers and serious gear to do things with they owe more than a passing nod to the hacker side of things.

However if what the Gateway people have said comes to pass (and I have no reason to doubt it) then cheats could happen as they have the 3ds hacked to a similar degree.

Oh that but I asked about it and you can't put it back to original if you use the cheats.
You can't test it if it are good cheats or not. You know if you want to keep the game legit.
