So, I'm looking to import a Korean 3DS LL Animal Crossing Edition to America. From an online retailer (yes I won't pay someone on this forum for it).
Checked Gmarket and none say worldwide shipping (not to mention Gmarket is kinda scary).
And of course, no one cares about Korean video games so the typical import Asian stuff sites don't have them (eg play asia), which is understandable, there's not a huge reason to get Korean stuff.

Looking to see if anyone knows something I don't, not looking to break the bank but under $300 would be ideal.

Have you checked out http://global.rakuten.com/ko/ google translate should be able to help a little.

I almost bought a guitar through rakuten japan and it seemed pretty easy. And if the individual listings don't do international shipping there are probably middlemen that take a small fee and will do it. That's how some of the Japanese listings worked, when I was looking.

Well thanks for the site!
Though doesn't look like it's going to happen right now, but I might just wimp out and buy a normal korean 3ds instead. Or something.
Thanks for all the help.

Did a quick search for "yahoo Korea auction" which led me to some other site. I'm doing this on a phone so maybe g-translate can help more.

This auction site came up a few times in my search. And $233,000 Korean is about $220 usd

If you do the translate page thing it says place of origin is japan, your likely buying a JP 3DS XL not a KR version.

If you want to buy a book, here are bookstores(mainly books, + other stuff).

And sites like Amazon are here. (sells books and any other stuff)

http://interpark.com
http://www.auction.co.kr/

gmarket seems to be the better one since it also ship world wide and your not bidding on anything.

Ironically I think I found the same thing:

Of course, like how_do_i_do_that it says the manufacture/country of origin is Japan, but the brand is Nintendo Korea (and in the review section the boxes have the Nintendo Korean logo).
I'm hypothesizing that since Nintendo is Japanese that is why. But clicking on another AC 3DS says that the country/origin is China. Funny stuff's happening.

If anyone knowledgeable in Gmarket can explain this anomaly, that'd be pretty neat.
