Gardevoir can't live a swordsdance lifeorb firepunch or even shadow claw. Its physical defence is poor.

Speed Boost Blaziken is banned everywhere in competitive play. People who play the metagame know it's broken. It has next to no counters when played in the right hands.

We are not banning a range of Pokemon, just one Pokemon that is known to be broken in the Pokemon community. You have a variety of other Pokemon to pick from.

That was 5th gen. This gen he gets his awesome baton pass with speed boost! In fact hes so godly its even better to give up his mega evolution for stronger sweepers like mega lucario and mega mawile or an overpowered revenge killer gengar with shadow tag. That being said, over half the people using blaziken really has no idea how to use him. And be real. People wont be running Life Orb on him after december or even now. Their asking for their blaziken to be taken down turn 2 after having a SR hit his face so hard.
TLDR; Hes overpowered, but now he makes all the mega pokes even more scarier.....

Annoucement

With the 21 entries I have decided upon the best format for this tournament.
4 groups of 5, (one of 6) . Each member of a group will play 1 game against all their fellow group members, When everyone has been played once, the 2 with the most wins from each group shall proceed towards the final 8: Knockout stage (if 2 people are tied for 2nd place, the one who goes through will be whoever won the battle between them two)

The format of the matches shall be double battles, flat rules. 4 Pokemon
Ban list:
ALL legends
Speed Boost Blaziken

The group stage shall run until 1st November, any matches not complete by then will be discounted unless we need an extension
Be fair, and announce the correct results of your games, any cheating will result in Disqualification.
