I think the reason for the 1 per card is simple, rom dumps are basically just an image of the cart, all security intact etc, by imaging the rom to a microsd when itserted into the gateway they is pretty much the original untouched rom in a different container, when they suss how to natively launch .3ds files, (which would need a loader etc) then we will see multi rom support, atm it has to be this way as it probably was a lot easier to just image the rom, add a few patches and done...

Also, as I said in my video description:

"-For those getting "Error 5" with Win 32 Disk Imager, you MUST format the microSD with Panasonic SD Formatter EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO PUT A NEW GAME ON THE SD. Format with the Panasonic SD Formatter, burn your rom with Win 32 Disk Imager and NO MORE ERROR 5!"

i have never used Panasonic SD Formatter to wipe that card before putting games on it, always just use the pc to format the card before writing the next game. never had an issue......................sudeki300

I just wrote the next game without even formatting before D:

lol, I did that twice but I returned to the safe method of formatting and then write the ROM, I don't want my microSD to stop working, especially since I'm using a very cheap microSD reader (I bought it for $1.50)

I'm a little confused.Help me understand

With 2.0, do we have firmware spoofing up to 6.3? For example, if a regular ROM without any special AP measures needs 6.3 FW, can GW 2.0 run it?

That's the firmware they show it working with. Who knows if Nintendo will be able to figure out a way to stop it.

ROMS probably yeah, you are running an emulated 6.3 after all.

RETAIL carts is a different story. I just discovered that retail carts don't work when Gateway mode is active so they might not work at all.

That they've figured out how to use the GW to dump retail games makes me hopeful that they've also figured out a way to have them run in Gateway mode.

Hopefully... I would love to play my retail Pokemon Y on my XL and not have to use my launch aqua blue 3DS with a crooked screen. -.-

Unless he was being very stupid while trying to be sarcastic, he didn't actually mean 'at the exact same time'. He meant, like, in the same session, or short period of time.

Unless he was trying to be funny but fell right on his face.

well if I'm speaking about in a short period of time... usually a couple games.. hardly warrants a need for multi game. multi gaming menus were cool back in the 90s and then on through some years in other systems but for crying outloud...the roms are HUGE now compared to back then.. I mean come on. what do you expect.. just wait til they release this functionality and enjoy what has been given so far. after all, as we all know, most people whom buy flash carts don't intend to buy games whatsoever. only a few do.

They'll do a memory mapping trick for the SD card within the firmware one day. Just watch and see. It will happen. Personally I can wait. I just reap off of whatever comes out anyway.
