I don't see why not if it goes through the authentication. I also don't see why you'd want to - downloadable meh-ni-games (see what I did there?) are meh anyways.

I want to be able to transfer my Ambassador titles, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and Pokemon X games to my 3DS XL's smexy XL screen. I have a normal 3DS on 6.3 and a XL on 4.5. So being able to system transfer would be awesome. (Let alone restoring NAND dumps. I could transfer games back to the normal 3DS and restore the XL's SD NAND back to when it still had the games.)

Because i have 2 xl's. and if i can system transfer then I would have all my stuff on one console. of course online gaming would also need to happen.

I'm pretty sure that putting your legit purchases on a virtual NAND on an exploited system is not the best of ideas.

My 3DS XL? I got that because the original 3DS screens were too small for me. Even if I traded it for in-store credit, I'd still be out a good amount of cash. Do they even still sell 2012 3DS XL models at places like Gamestop, etc?

Yes they still have them at gamestop, futureshop, bestbuy, walmart etc. i picked mine up two weeks ago and went to all the stores they all had them but walmart had it for 149$ so i price matched it at futureshop to save extra 10% LOOL

I guess I could trade in my original Wii as well, though I doubt I'd get much in-store credit, then my XL and poke around to see if they have the 2012 trademark on the boxes.

They can think what they want. If you tell them you will only buy it if it's copyright 2012 then I'm sure they would be more than happy to check for you.

Back when I was buying a PSP-2000, specifically stating that I only want ones with a Data Code below or equal to 8B, the store staff went out of their way to present me with each and every single one they had, including testing them to check if they were updated or not (since at that point exploits for 6.2+ OFW did not exist) - when the store staff sees a prospect of getting gil for a console that's just sitting there and wasting precious space, they will do anything for you.

Right now, I can't afford to get a new one or pay a huge difference like Gamestop was "offering" me (75 dollars, lol what a joke). Unless I could sell one for at $120 (it's in VERY good condition), then I wouldn't mind getting one from there, or if someone were to sell me there's.

That would be great, the ability to send multiple copies of the same software to multiple 3DS systems with valid certificate and everything. I have an idea for a new feature: The ability to strip automatically downloaded firmware updates from the system.

If its a 3ds regular ive seen them still sell used (local ads or ebay) for 100-140 (excellent condition + a few games)... 3ds xl ive seen sell from 140-160+

Like I said - browse auction sites and compare prices, then make a listing of your own if you really want to sell it. Gamestop only gives you petty money because they want a slice of the cake as well - they give you $75, sell the system for $120 and rake in the difference into the register - that's how business works. Remove the middle-man and you make more money.

I got rid of my 3DS for a reason (that was on 5.x), and strained my eyes a bit, the XL, not so much, a lot easier to read text, etc.

You won't get screwed over if you ship after you are paid, and you can stipulate that in the auction's description. It's the buyers who might get screwed over on EBay, rarely the sellers. Craigslist I don't use or trust, 3indie5me.

the_randomizer if you are worried about a buyer on ebay not paying then require them to pay when they buy it. Also you can just not ship it to them until you have received the payment. Also you can easily sell a newish xl on amazon for $170-$190 ish

Well,with every update they're going deeper and deeper,although using the same exploit,they have potential.
