I find a current-gen game that isn't Pokemon related that I'm really excited for, and BAM delayed. Such is my luck... I guess I'll have to play Arkham Origins then finish the other Ace Attorney games before I play the latest one.

Bad Ubi, I had planned to buy Watch Dogs, Zelda A Link Between worlds, Super Mario 3D World and Surface 2. Now one thing will be missing :(
If Microsoft change the release date for the Surface 2 so will I leave Internet, can't take more shit, first Ramen then Donkey Kong now Watch Dogs. What next? Sure Smash Bros Moved to 2015? :/

...You need some friends. Maybe some Japanese ones so you can get your Ramen fix.

A pity as it looked to be one of the more interesting games this year. I probably would not have played it for some time anyway but it looked interesting. 2014 is not yet doing an awful lot for me though so I could probably fit it in there somewhere.

Disappointment is understandable. They should have given themselves more time. But kudos on making the right call.

Releasing high quality, tested, bug-free games is the fast track to Game of the Year. I find the bug-free aspect to be more important than anything. Too many lemons get published to meet a deadline with the "we can patch it later" outlook, and what happens? They become so-so when they could have been mind-blowing with a little internal beta testing.

Star Wars: The Old Republic (extremely unfinished). FO:New Vegas & Skyrim (buggy as hell on a lot of setups). The Sims 3 (unfinished with more bugs added in every expansion, with most never being fixed years later). Arkham City (disappearing saved games on a completionist's wet dream? seriously?) ... they all made a splash, but imagine how much bigger that splash would have been if they were released in pristine condition.

Bioshock Infinite was the first game I've played in decades that was perfect out of the box, and I didn't have to tweak files, download hacks, modify some 3rd party requirement like GFWL ... Gamers should be demanding nothing less. The ability to patch games has severely damaged the quality of releases we see. Patches should be for emergencies or bonus/DLC content only.

Why? Because it's in third-person perspective? "Watch_Dogs" is literally nothing like "Grand Theft Auto V" in terms of gameplay or even player goals.

You and I might know this but would the average cretin, or more to the point the average marketing cretin's idea of the average cretin?
