I been looking everywhere for this, but it is only available in the UK right now. Does anyone know if it will come stateside and or if the UK version would work with US games?
Is it really region-free?

Anyone know if the UK Datel 3DS Power Saves will work on United States format?

I'd assume not, considering with the way Datel/Action Replay's usually work, they just register it as a normal game, and thus would probably need to apply to the region code format - that's probably why it hasn't come out officially in the US either, is my guess. But, yeah, that's just my assumption, so you won't know without an actual, solid confirmation.

It's not an Action Replay, it's a save dumping/writing dongle that plugs into the PC.
So I would guess it works with any region, it makes sense considering what it is.
However, there might not be cheats available for other regions.
It's possible they are simply doing cheats for one region at a time, and that's why it's only released in UK.

Yeah, it's not an Action Replay, but it's made by the same people, lol. But yeah, we'll have to either wait until someone can confirm, or he may just have to buy one on a limb.

R4 dongle being more reliable, no. From what I can tell the people that worked on the cyber save editor added a few things that are not in the R4 dongle software. This is probably evident from the save hack support of the monster hunters game, something not available to the R4 dongle.

The problem is that all these clones are localized to specific regions and a particular database of online save region sets, making them useless for any other region.

the powersaves doesn't actually work. It corrupts any game released past the FW 2.2.0-4 release due to people being too lazy or otherwise occupied to make a program for decryping those saves.

Seriously, Datel Japan has puroaku save editor which has preloaded save MODS (letting you keep your save's progress) and Cyber Gadget has a save editor that lets the user manually hex edit any save (including MH4) and reencrypts it.
But they only work on JP games.

US/EU 3ds homebrew devs need to get their shit together :v

I have PowerSaves and it works fine with all the games on their list ~ it lets you edit saves and then re- encrypts. It doesn't let you Hex Edit but I am not sure the Cyber Gadget product does that either ~ I could be wrong. The PowerSaves are for EU games but most likely work on US games too since it is YOUR save that they are modifying and then sending back to you. No Nand saves yet for Animal Crossing or X&Y.

Have you tried US games on it? I really want to get one, but need to make sure it would work with my games...

Anyone know if US games do work with it?

I found some on ebay, but don't want to end up being screwed if i order one and find out it doesn't work with US games...

This site says it is region-free: http://answers.argos.co.uk/answers/1493-en_gb/product/9129119/questions.htm

Should I buy it and can I get refund from the ebay page (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...961876&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123#shpCntId) if it doesn't work?

I downloaded software, but it says EU... Doubt it has US saves then. Are there other options?
