Hacking A little help updating, please?

I borrowed my friend's Metroid Trilogy game and installed it last summer and have finally gotten around to playing it, which was working fine until I got to Prime 3: Corruption, which would freeze on a black screen when I tried to load it. So, I went ahead and looked up some fixes and realized I needed to do some updating since I had last done so in early '12, and all I've done so far is get the multiplayer working, managed to fix a few other collection games, and grant myself a fancy new GameCube loader update (which I also can't seem to get working). I'll post the Syscheck here

Tel mdmii you wii has never been modded before and follow the gnerated guide.

Didnt know it had such a bad repútation, but from the topic it looks more like prejudice than real cases of problems.
I used it without problems, but i agree with people on the topic that you should know what you're doing instead of using an automated software.
In the end its your choice.

Yes I do have an internet connection, and I'll go ahead and try your idea and post back with some results.

Use ModMii if you want to update your Wii. You can just drag your sysCheck into ModMii's sysCheck updater, and it will do the rest. However, it is worth noting that your Metroid Prime Trilogy problems with Metroid Prime 3 are likely unrelated to your Wii needing to be updated (it looks fine to me). Some of the most popular dumps of Metroid Prime Trilogy come with corrupted MP3 games that refuse to load. If MP1 and MP2 work fine but MP3 won't load, you almost certainly have a bad file.

Yes, I already did the updates are you were right, it had nothing to do with them and is probably my copy. You can still play Metroid Prime 3: Corruption by doing one of the following:

1. Downloading a good copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy
2. Downloading a standalone copy of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (it was its own game before Metroid Prime Trilogy)
3. Using a Metroid Prime 3: Corruption retail disc (it's not dual-layer)

I would still appreciate it if someone could speculate as to why I can't get backups to work with DML though. I know I have the game path right.

You haven't given any details regarding your DML problems other than "it doesn't work." Keep in mind that DML is for GameCube backups on the SD card and DM is for GameCube backups on the USB.

I will definitely use one of your three suggestions and I'm sorry about being vague about my DML problem. When I tried playing Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door with with the USB version of DM(2.10) through USB Loader GX(r1218) it froze after the "press start" title screen, that leads to the saved games screen. Which was fine because I read that it has limited USB support and assumed my drive isn't compatible so, I decided to try DML(2.10) with my 2GB SD card formatted to FAT (either 8 or 16k) and I installed Paper Mario the same way but, it appear in the USB Loader GX game list. Also, thanks for being patient with me Lacius.

For me, GC works great with wiiflow. I can't get them to work with usbloadergx.. i'd suggest trying wiiflow..

if stuff doesn't show up inwiiflow, click the home icon and 'reload cache'
