Square Enix might or might not release the game outside Japan. I know Tabata wants to bring it over here, but in case it's not possible, you guys can be sure our translation project will deliver.
I'd love an official localization happening: it would be faster, into more languages than just English and Spanish, and would take no effort by fans.

However, after reading Tabata's interview with Usgamer, I've realized that I don't want fans to wait like that either; so I'll wait to see if there are news during TGS. If Square Enix remains silent by next week, I'll take the bull by the horns and manage the project myself, try to give release dates and have the game fully playable in English as soon as possible.

I'm confident our project matches the quality of an official localization. Don't worry fans, this game is coming either by Square Enix, or by us.

Anyway, back on topic, Type 0 is never going to come out in English unless it's a rerelease/remake on an entirely different and viable platform, which at this point probably means PS3 or PS4. Sky is most likely our only and best chance of seeing it inside of half a decade. So way to go, Sky and team. Work your magic. I waited for Mother 3, I can wait for this.

PSP games and emulators also look better on the PSP:

The Vita may have a better screen with better colors, but it's resolution is so high that low res PSP games look muddy the way they would on a PC monitor. PSP content on a PSP display is pixel perfect with a slight scanlines effect that gives games a proper digital appearance.

I don't have a Vita, only a PSP, so I can't tell... But this is dumb from Sony.
Besides Stretching the display (pixellating it in the process) and Stretching plus Smoothing, don't they have on the Vita any options to make PSP games play on their native resolution surrounded by black bars (kind of like the option when you play a PS1 game on the PSP)?

Alright geez lol, here, this is everything that is needed to be translated, in order to have a full English experience (there are more texts in the game, but they are either done, or not so important):

Obviously part of this document is already translated too, but since I'm posting it on a public board, it'll be just the untouched version...

EDIT: Well, about 25% of that document is translated as of now, surely with more active people the document could be already done by now, but obviously we all have a life. That's why I stress the need of more people.

This document is the the main scenario of the game, the "story script" containing NPC, missions, cutscenes, tutorials, etc... Due to the fact that there are many texts repeated in the game, the ~25% done actually represents more than the 40% of the text found in the main scenario during game play. But it's just a matter of trasnlating THIS file, since the rest hold much more unimportant text like the CC (wich is in part translated too), or important text that is already translated by the team (such as all the menus.)

No, but pixel perfect games would only be displayed at 1/4 the Vita's screen size (Vita screen has 4x as many pixels), so it's not like you'd be missing much.

To ignore a user, simply click on their username to bring up 4 or 5 options, the one on the far right is called "Ignore". I think you can figure out the rest yourself.

I hope we'll see no more off-topic thanks to NSRSM's explaination a couple of posts ago. Seriously, if you don't like someone, instead of jabbing at him constantly, just use the ignore function and this thread will be a lot less cluttered and more useful to the Type-0 translators.
