I was able to get Wiiflow 4.2 on my Wii U, but keep getting black screen freeze when I try to run a GameCube game (Using Devolution). I already authorized most of the ISOs on my original wii and the game I just tried was one of them. I ripped my game discs through CleanRip. Anything I can do about this?

OK, I know that you may laugh with me but can anyone explain me what are the benefits from a FTP server?
How can I use it and why?

Sorry, but I have no idea...

You can make changes without having to detach your hard disk from the Wii and attach it to your PC, and then detach it from your PC and move it back to your Wii.

I'm having trouble getting plugins to remember their path correctly. Everything defaults to usb1. How do I fix this?

For using Devolution through Wiiflow, do I need the actual program (Dev) in my apps folder, or just the loader.bin file in the Wiiflow folder on root?

I have both a USB HDD and an SDHC card for my Wii U (Both are connected). For some reason, it is saving the wiiflow.ini settings file to the SDHC and all directories for Wiiflow in program settings are pointing to the SDHC instead of the USB HDD, except for my GameCube games folder. When I tried booting a GameCube game, it just goes to black screen. Anything I can do to fix this?

in wiiflow.ini clear the section [PLUGINS/PARTITION]

now select a plugin and then go into config to set the partition. now the partition should be set for that plugin under [PLUGINS/PARTITION] and you shouldn't have to do it again. do this for each plugin.

Thanks, I figured out it was the wiiflow ini. Trying to set everything back the way I had it now.

How do I set it to find them automatically again?
you just have to select the plugin and then select the partition and thats it - from then on when you choose that plugin it should automatically switch to that partition.

note if you have a btn with more than one magic # it won't work.

Well, I deleted the entire ini, returned to wiiflow, went to look at the ini again, it wasn't there. So I had to manually create a blank ini for it to write. I went though all my sd plugins, then went back to the ini again, set them all to 0, went back to wiiflow, the only ones that stuck were fceugx, snes9xgx, and cps2 for some reason.

I tried my wiiu card, running r850 and everything sticks with it, copied the ini over to my wii card and the same result as before.

where is wiiflow folder and boot.dol, on sd or usb?

strange that wiiflow didnt make a wiiflow.ini for you.

Everything is on sd. I just use hdd for wii, gamecube, emunand and ps1.
I'm gonna back up both cards, try my wii setup on the wiiu card, and if that works, format my card and start from scratch.

Yeah I have Wiiflow on SDHC too, forgot about that :p

The forwarder channel should load from SD first so if you have an SD/apps/wiiflow folder with an older Wiiflow version and another USB/apps/wiiflow folder things can get screwy.

I use a single FAT32 partition on my USB drive and keep the apps/wiiflow folder and the wiiflow folder there.

The apps/wiiflow folder should have the boot.dol, icon.png, meta.xml and wiiflow.ini file in it. The wiiflow folder should have a bunch of files/folders.

What rev are you trying to use and are you using a forwarder channel or are you running it from HBC?

I think I am on latest Wiiflow (4.2?) and am going through HBC on my Wii U.
