Even if it didnt sell i would still make profit. Broken 3DS's sell on ebay for around $60 - 90 depending on condition. Thats why i bought it from him and not just tell him no

yeah i know nintendo games & consoles seem to hold their value for ever. B-)

I Just want to email nintendo to tell them how amazing the gateway card is just to piss em off. Even though I didnt get my card yet :)

If you did that, they would send these 2 people to kick your ass, confiscate your 3DS..... and then play your gateway.

I honestly don't know what to post... I have mixed feelings about Gateway, and decided the best way to express my feelings is through a video:

  • Gateway battles Nintendo
  • The user base will continue to support Gateway unless Nintendo agrees to Region Free
  • Nintendo eventually brings Gateway to court
  • Updates Stop
  • CRASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I recommend you go to China purchase them if you live in Hong Kong, the seller will send the order via sf-express shipping to Hong Kong Customers,it only takes 1-3 dasy to be received.here in stock : http://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...R4WOOD-Supported-Store/618960_1224175727.html
I hope I can help you

Alixpress is not even an official reseller whereas the malaysian one is.. but their website looks a bit shady though.. and I am nearer to malaysia than Hong Kong...

Not to go off topic but:

1- Will trimming a rom make any difference ( will it harm the gameplay in any way?).

2- Does it really matter what type of micro sd card you use because I have a range of 512mb for games like super mario 3d land and all. If someone knows a good place to buy a few that would be great. I also dont know much about sd cards in terms of quality and read speed if that makes any type of difference.
In regards to question 1, some people have reported problems happening when they trim roms. Including (but not limited to) freezes, crashes, and save issues. To be safe, don't trim, just get a 8GB card (that will handle all 4GB and below cards) or, if you want to futureproof get an 16 GB (the biggest a 3DS game can get is 8GB).
Day 3 on my hunt for a new 3DS:

I sold the piece of shit 3ds i got friday on ebay for $110. Currently in talks with a person who is selling 2 3DS's (purple and aqua blue) for $80 each (imma haggle em down). The blue is 2.2 and the purple is 4.4 (but has nail polish on it so ill go for the blue).
Remember what happened last time you tried to haggle someone down? You got screwed over, but got saved by eBay. Don't expect that to happen twice.

Im sure plenty of nintendo employees order gateway cards, they just deny it ;)
And at least part of them get gateway cards to investigate it and patch firmware.

By the way, nothing stops Nintendo from stealth firmware update - yes, I mean with no asking "press 'yes' to update" at all. They even included explicit disclaimer about it - something like '..some of updates will not require your confirmation and installed automatically' - you seen that at initial setup stage and pressed 'OK'. And all our 4.5.0 3DS will be updated without a notice and the only option for Gateway users will be not using online completely. I think Nintendo will make (not so hard) decision about that in a few monthes.

With the new update from Modchipdirect, looks like I will be the last person in the world to get a GW3DS and I did pre-order since june. Sigh! :p1ng2:

I don't think us$79.99 is a cheap price, but i just saw that there is large quantities of gateway 3ds in stock on this provider.

I got an order with them as well.

Looks like everyone except Asian stores are getting screwed a bit. The team said they are shipping in order that people paid for their orders. Modchipsdirect paid for their order 2~3 days after it was announced, so its pretty shitty that they sold so many to the 'asian' market before shipping their order (and others). They showed me an email saying that it was because some Asian wholesaler head guy bought 10~20,000 pieces or something stupidly big like that.
My question is why do they care about asian market penatraction? they come and go, they copy what other stores stock....so why do they need to get stock before everyone else? They are the same stores that will be all over clones if/when they come out.

cannot be much longer now and at least it is local shipping and local US warranty.

nds-card.com accepts paypal
NDS-card.com takes paypal.

But they charge $90 :L, that seems kinda greedy don't you think? Im in no rush to get the card.

EDIT: They also say they aren't responsible for it being lost or broken so if i get a shit card thats 90 down the drain and paypal damn sure wont side with me.
