The New Nintendo Direct that aired today was all focused on this game ..and I thought it would be totally meh, until I saw the new trailer that they showed in the end of it.. ..now the game looks much less like a interesting tech demo and much more like a cool and complete game.

The new gameplay possibilities announced on the Nintendo Direct were pretty cool too, so if you want to watch the whole Direct video, you can do so here.

That trailer was amazing that it just convinced me that that game is a MUST in my collection! *o* I really like how the story feels and how there's something like a "Dark version" of Wonder Red and how they go fist to fist! Oh, and I like it how there's a fight against Wonder Blue in the game. Looks like a pretty sweet game.

wtf
a trailer is one thing but revealing the whole story and spoilering everything is something else... goddamit who made that trailer o.O

it's like watching the sixth sense and then john dorian tells you, bruce willis is ghost...
pls put a spoiler tag somewhere... I expected a gameplay trailer and instead got so much story elements revealed x.X
may not be a big deal for you, but for me, part of a game is experiencing the story, not knowing half of it beforehand... :-/

I watched a short trailer a week or so ago & i was like meh, but i was still looking out for snippets of the game for more information as i was seeing Wonderful 101 everywhere.

I didn't watch the Nintendo Direct gameplay trailer, but after watching it now i'm warming to the game.

If it receives decent reviews i'll definately make the purchase.

Something in the Nintendo Direct today told me it would be released on September 15th... Something... no idea what though...

It looks somewhat interesting, but while watching it, I wasn't exceptionally impressed. The story may be able to carry it where the gameplay may end up failing, at the least. Then again, I also can't tell if the gameplay is going to be very button mashy, or if it will actually require the player to think before they hit a button. In the long run, this is definitely one where a person will want to wait and see. At the moment, it isn't looking a whole lot different than the many other group fighter games that have been made using Marvel characters and such, and those games are notoriously average.

While I respect your opinion, I must ask you if you are a game journalist/reviewer. This really sounds like something a person like that would write. If you can't tell if the gameplay is going to be button mashy, then why don't you buy it when it comes out so you can find this out yourself?

And when you say people might want to wait and see, just how long of a wait do you have in mind? 3 months? A year? 4 years? Not every game that's released in this day and age needs to have at least an 8 out of 10 rating for people to buy it. Although it's preferable that said game isn't like Superman 64 or Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2.
