I don't even have an USPS number....

Me neither. But it'll pop up on USPS.com since thats what they use once it gets to the US. Thats how I checked mine.

Package arrived. I'll check back.

EDIT: Just finish the Unboxing & Review video. Will post it up once I'm done rendering.

Here you guys go! R4iGold3DS.com is legit.

Yeah, I'm guessing I'll have to wait for him for when he gets another batch in stock.. Anyways when did you order it? How long did it take? Did he give you a tracking number?

Ha, what camera is that?

Canon T3i DLSR using the Canon 50mm EF F/1.8 Lens. :D Now, you just gotta wait for yours to arrive. Did you use that China tracking number on USPS.com??

Glad to hear they came through for ya :)

Thanks. Me too. :D

I ordered it on Monday of July 29th and it just got here today. So it took about 8 days. Might varies where you live. And yes, he gave me a China tracking number, but you can use USPS.com to track it since it'll be going to USPS for delivering when it gets to the US.

^ i emailed him/her and they asked me my age when i inquired about his carts (???) i'm not saying he's not legit but i didn't feel comfortable buying from them and i dunno why that would even be relevant...

I didn't want to start my own thread but I have a quick question about the EZ Flash line.

I understand that the IV is hard to find and quite overpriced. I've seen people commenting on the 3-in-1 saying that you can only have one game at a time permanently stored on it's memory, however because it's an expansion pack and I'm planning to use it on my DS Lite surely I would be able to store more than one game on my original R4 (that's how I understand it).

Would this be the best way to store a collection of GBA games on my DS Lite? And would I be able to use my existing R4 with Wood fimware (and several DS games) or would I need to purchase any new DS flashcard?

Basically yes to most of that/"if you are just planning to use it on a DS then carry on".

To go a bit more in depth

The GBA requires fast access memory to run and NAND memory (which is most of what you would have seen in USB drives, SD cards, CF cards and everything else is too slow). However NOR memory and various types of RAM are fast enough for it.
NOR memory is very slow to write, expensive for lots of space and has a lot of issues that prevent it from being entirely user friendly.
RAM tends not to maintain data when you lose power and also quite pricey when it comes to space.
Early GBA carts (everything before the supercard and EZ3) attempted to make increasingly larger collections of NOR memory.
Later GBA carts stored things on NAND and copied it to RAM (or in some very odd cases NOR) allowing them to vastly increase the amount of games they could hold at the cost of writing a game to another sort of memory. Most of the later cards has a NOR section as well so people could store their favourite games and not have to wait the 20 odd seconds to copy to RAM.

The 3 in 1 is an expansion pack which various teams cooked up when they realised the DS slot to GBA slot transfer is not that slow and if people already had a DS cart which could store loads of GBA games (and given SDHC which starts at 4 gigs exists and GBA games tended not to go above 16 megs that is a lot) they might as well jettison the NAND memory and drop the price.
The 3 in 1 had its software read/write stuff open sourced and so everybody supported it either at cart level, with the help of another program or some combination of the two.

Best... they tended not to have RTC but for the most part as they are running on an actual GBA using something that was fast enough to work then yeah it will play damn near everything much like a normal GBA cart. The downside is that you need a DS to manage it unless you want to write one game to the NOR and have it load from that on a regular GBA. The DS has no link port for the GBA so if you want to do multiplayer there then you will need one, this then means you have to write to the NOR on the DS, swap over to the GBA and then play if you want to use it in a GBA or GB player or something that is not a DS/DS lite.
If you are just using it on a DS then the worst thing you have to do is manage the saves and most programs will do that for you anyway. Speaking of saves and link ports you can also try emulating the games that want linking.

Thank you for that, very informative.

I assume that i can just apply known patches to the ROM's if there were any issues regarding the RTC.

Also will the 3 in 1 kernal software and GBA ExpLoader interfere with my DS software on my original R4 or can I just create a separate folder on the R4 for the 3 in 1?

I am reselling i bought some more from him and got his entire stock so message me if you want to buy!!!

Talked to him, he was asking for $40 which includes Shipping. Good deal, however since he's a newcomer like myself, and doesn't have that many posts, I decided to wait out and be on the safe side and get it where Nusdogg did.

The only chance I will take with him, if he decides to do a Collect On Delivery type of system.

Well if he does paypal and you want to give him a try, be sure to not do it as gift. If you do and he is scamming, you will never get your cart or money.

Eh, I would prefer doing a CoD type of system with him, I messaged him on gbatemp about it, and haven't gotten a response back. That would be the best way in my opinion.

I would tell you all now, I am interested in that one, and I have a feeling Im willing to pay much more then you are all.

I'm willing to go up to $70-$120 if I this is what I need. Since it comes with a Gameboy, with a few button issues, I'm sure I can get a new housing done to fix that, and have two gameboys with flash cartridges. Allowing me to play with my friends/family.

Have to see how high the bidding goes on that one. Looks interesting. Not sure what to make of those carts, though.

I'll probably wait till the last of the hour of the bidding and bid if the price is right. But it seems intriguing from the current price. If all fails, I'm guessing I'll have to revert to Revo/EZ-Flash IV
