I don't think it will be possible to dump what has been modified since they seem to say that you have to re-run the ds software every time you re enter DS mode...

can't seem to

soft reseting just goes to a black screen for a few seconds and says software closed with the option to power off or return to home, with the top screen talking about sleep mode.

answer, it programs then fails in the verifying with error 0001fe00. ds lite seem uninfected after reboot. acekard and games still work

maybe I would say yes but who knows.

add: The ds firmware flash on a 3ds only contains settings. So there is no piracy (maybe some code from GW but I don't think that is an problem)

add2: can you make a dump after the restart if the soft reset is not working?

Well I already turned off wifi on my 3DS waiting for them to make a patch for FW 6, then I will buy one of those

It seems every time you run something in ds mode (flashcard, game, etc) you need to redo the first step
Every time you power off or need to do the first step you need to redo the second step.

Sounds similar to the the new firmware on the PSP/PSP go.

just tried the GW_INSTALL.nds on my acekard 2i on original 3ds 4.3.0-10E. it worked so i tried the profile switch and i got an error. after putting Launcher.dat on the sd card it now works without the error. pointless as i wont get my gateway 3ds till probably next week but does confirm (in my eyes anyways) that the gateway blue it just a ds mode card

How did you do it please explain, my Acekard2i doesn't work on my 3DS despite it being on the latest FW.

If anyone else wants it I can PM them it but dunno how useful it may or may not be as I've been having trouble getting the a dump of it after that would upload to a site, zipped or even moved in windows without it complaining about "empty" or corrupt file.

Yea it is fake. They used a picture of a Chinese/Jap 3DS and photoshopped the top and bottom. The reason they made it all blue was so no one would see the Letters where the "3D On and OFF" switch was, also to make the bottom screen look less fake. Whoever made that blue garbage photoshopped the already photoshopped piece of shit(see my above image) i posted.

I got a dump (after a reset) and found some most likely left data (it is in the dump and the installer file) (the data B9F2100000FE010000010000E149150000942700FC341300D08C1E008C5310009C9427F0603D1400). The data is at DS Firmware User Settings 0xB4 that is outside of all known data fields. There is also something wrong with the Message string it has the size 26 but contain only 00s.
