I actually meant Mini ATX Cases that support full sized atx mobos

Are there any cheap/reliable ones out there that supports full atx boards and full vid cards? I made the mistake in going full tower and it just looks ugly with my set up in all honesty.

Sorry I meant like small towers such as LAN pc cases
So you want to use full ATX board, but small tower? Small tower ATX are quite rare, most are mid to full tower instead.

Cooler Master Elite 361 is a small tower case. Looking from the picture, you should have no problem fitting a full video card, but cable management will definitely be a problem.

Honestly for LAN PC, you should go for Bitfenix Prodigy + Mini-ITX motherboard. Prodigy is very roomy for a full video card.

Well I don't really want to use it for lan parties I just noticed that there was some out there pretty small and was wondering if there were any cases like that that you could fit a full sized gpu with a full sized atx board

When I ordered my case I didnt think it'd be that big but it sticks out like a clown in a army. I just don't really have the extra funds. :/

That cooler master Almost reminds me of old school cases where you could set your monitor on your tower I Kinda miss those days.

Keep in mind the smaller the case goes, the harder the cable management is (unless you willing to cut PSU cables and make your own custom length cables).

The best you can do is either mid-tower ATX case, or go for micro ATX build instead. Either way save up money.

Cases always look huge when compared to the motherboard. It's depressing, but unavoidable.

Trying to squeeze a full-size board into a smaller case will make you appreciate why this is the case, though.

I compiled the volume of different case that have been mentioned in the thread:
Thermaltake chaser: 4770 cu in
Cooler Master HAF XB: 3777 cu in
Antec VSK 4000: 2045 cu in **** about the average size of a "beige" tower
Cooler Master elite 361: 1546 cu in

How about that:
Fractal Design node 605: 1564 cu in

Ha now that's going old school, there was this one case I saw but can't remember what it was it was pretty small and had handles at the top cant find it

perhapes I could get recommendations for mini atx mobos that support 630w psus as well as fm2 APUs?
Cheap though - the board having 5.1 and hd out/vga out would be a plus.

I have bad horror stories with ASRock, my first build caused the 4pin connector to pop on one might it be possible to find one for $50?

Nope. Was looking into these myself. ~$100 is the going rate, and there's only 3 in production right now.

For the record, my experience with ASRock has been rather pleasant. Exceptional value for money.

It'll be troublesome getting 5.1 out of that motherboard. You need to use both rear output and front panel audio to get 5.1. No headphone.

Mini-ITX motherboard are generally more expensive than mATX, do not expect $50 mini-ITX motherboard.

I meant to say ATX but if my stereo has rca I could just get a rca to 3.5mm and hook it up that way?

One 3.5mm port only delivers two audio channels.

If you are so interested in APU, why even bother dedicated video card? APUs are for those who intends to NOT use dedicated video card. Consider FX or Core i3 if you want to use dedicated video card.
