I have problems imagining how Vaati could be a playable character. He's kind of huge.
Not that I don't like the idea, I think it would be awesome.

Midna from Zelda Twilight Princess would be amazing.
This would be interesting to see. No idea what moves she would have though.

He's only huge in his transformed/final boss form, regular Vaati with the hat is normal size. I would like to see him as a boss for the adventure mode if nothing else, though.

Oh wait, was confusing Vaati with another character from the series. Nevermind :P

What do you call reasonable? If anyone said "the wii fit trainer!", I would have laughed...but she's still in it.

So here goes:
-mii character
-Bayonetta
-Ghirahim
-Rayman
-Reggie Fils-Aime (he'll trow gamepads at you while his body is ready! :D ). I'd also go for some sony and microsoft directors, but we all know THAT won't happen. ;)

I feel like Wii Fit Trainer is the equivalent to the reveal of Mr. Game and Watch or R.O.B. from the past two games. Its the one character you'd never see coming, however it is a bit odd that they'd reveal that character right away instead of much closer to the release like the other two were. So I think the most ridiculous character has been revealed, of course I could be way wrong.

I doubt Miis will happen, I remember Sakurai said during Brawl's development that Miis weren't really a good fit for the game.

How is THAT an argument? It's not like that random villager from animal crossing is a perfect fit. Or R.O.B or Game and watch. Let alone the wii trainer.

I mean...okay, I once drew a sadistic image of her (linky)...but it's not like that's to be taken seriously or anything...

Dixie Kong
King K. Rool
Young Zelda (with a new Young Sheik perhaps?)
Isaac
Felix
Pac-Man (with his moveset based on Pac-Man World)
Waluigi
Captain Syrup
Zoroark
Wart
Bomberman
Crash Bandicoot (Classic)
Rayman

And really, bring Young Link back.

Rayman, Bayonetta, Mewtwo, Super Meat Boy (Team Meat offered Nintendo the character for FREE!!), the guys from Wonderful 101, and the robot from Nintendo Land!

Hey don't shoot the messenger.

Having said that, I do agree with his sentiment, I don't want a mii to be a fighter. A mii is much to bland. What on earth would their attacks be? I find no issue with the Villager at all, seems logical to me.

And the Wii Fit Trainer seems like this gen's R.O.B. or Mr. Game and Watch. Each game introduces ONE of these characters, to introduce both the trainer and the Mii would be overkill on the barely-character characters.
