Seems pretty sketchy to recieve $2000 dollars in donations and not give anyone an update on why there is delay (that there shouldn't be in the first place).
Well, first off, the fundraiser didn't happen in 10 minutes. He had no idea if/when the goal would be reached. And second, someone mentioned something about the dude being busy. I can't imagine what would make him so busy that he can't mail the package or whatever, but then again, donating for this is like buying lotto tickets, but without the possibility of becoming a millionaire.

I'm not necessarily saying he ran off with the money, it's just a little odd. But I would love to stay up to date with the scamming scanning.

Me too but let's face the truth, it's probaly a scam :(
I feel really sorry for the people who donated, and i hope this isn't a scam.

This. It didn't seem like a lot of people here donated that much money, meaning that there were probably a few VERY big donaters ($300+ maybe). Not to say that I don't feel sorry for those who donated little amounts, but its sad that people donated a lot of money to go into someone's pocket.

We will see...

It would be extremely rude of them to do that (if they did that)!
A little update from "Decapping Team" would be nice, for all concerned people. That's just insensitive from their side IMO.

If i'm wrong or said something wrong, than i apologize.

Would that actually work?
If he can't/wont give any update here what would be the differance sending him an e-mail?

Considering that the fundraiser reached its $2000 goal a while ago, the longer we go without an update, the worse the thoughts that run through the minds of those who donated and the higher the chances of refunds happening on those donations due to thoughts of being scammed.

Pretty much one of two statements needs to be made:

1) We sent the 3DS off for decapping

or

2) The estimated total was actually less than what is needed.

Better to get bad news than no news at all.

Uh huh, no faith... AT ALL. Seriously, people do get busy, and plus, this was endorsed by the high ups of 3D Brew. Lets not go calling the Scam card yet without evidence.

>Raises $2,000 in donations for a 3DS decapping
>Never happens
>Scumbag J|12, pretending to be "too busy" to mail off a 3DS
