Very true, after a few months a sharp corner of mine lifted up a bit after rubbing on something. Next time I'll probably have a crystal clear case over the 3DS, covering the decal as well. I wonder if that'll look as good, though.

That is exactly what is happening to my decal, its lifting from one edge, the crystal cases are nice but they add a bit of bulk to the device..

However crystal clear cases tend to get dirty "under" the surface.

I'm gonna get a 3DS XL soon, and I want to print my own sticker. If you do not recommend the crystal clear case, what else should I buy to protect the decal? Is there any other transparent case that you recommend?

TPU clear case. 100 times better than crystal case.

I got this decal from etsy. It looks amazing.
