Hi everyone,I was interested in the purchase of a nintendo 3ds xl to play japanese game & support my study of the japanese by playing, but since it is region blocked & I live in Italy,I think I have to order one online...the question now is,do you know any online place that can sell me the japanese 3ds xl at a good price & most important thing,a safe place? :)

Also,if I where loking for it on ebay or amazon, how should I "search it" to be sure that is the JAP version of the 3ds?

Thx :)

Just search something like "japanese 3DS", I found quite a few results with that search term on eBay.
The cheapest one is the white one at $200 + $15 shipping. It's $230 on Play-Asia.

Well, I think Playasia is safe as I hear a lot of people buying from there, but I never tried myself. And I don't know if it ships worldwide or not.
They ship worldwide. I've used them myself, and they're good. They're pricy though.

I got my 3DS LL from Nippon-Yasan. They are generally okay, but a little rude for a Japanese (or French, but i was served by a Japanese throughout) establishment. They have staff who know a fair amount of English and they use FedEx to ship their stuff. It'll take them a bit of time to deliver from their little island to Osaka Kansai though. They are fairly cheap, I must admit. I'll definitely consider/recommend them when purchasing small items.

Play-Asia definitely provided a way more pleasurable experience in terms of CS. However, PA is really pricey. I only buy stuff like games on sale or screen filters (generally, things which are cheaper than Singapore game stores). Other than that, PA is pretty much an overkill in price.

Actually,I am not going to purchase from Nippon Yasan anymore...a friend of mine told me that importing stuff from outside EU in Italy I have to pay something like 20-30%"customs duties" & on top of that 20%VAT ç_ç
But I heard about yesasia.com wich sould send my 3ds LL from an establishment in Germany, avoiding me all those trouble & expenses

Someone know if yesasia.com is reliable? :)

problem with 3ds ll is that I can't find one inside EU,I wrote to yesasia & they said that the 3ds would had come from Japan,so no way for me to avoid common duty or VAT ç_ç
on ebay.com,all 3ds LL are from Japan & 1 in Singapore... I can't belive that EU don't have a single shop that sell japanese stuff, like a nintendo LL... ç_ç
