Well, my nephew had a DS Lite and he wasn't using it anymore, so he lend it to me. The upper screen had a line of dead pixels, a pretty big one, so I decided to replace it.

Thing is, the dude that "repaired" it did a TERRIBLE job. He lost the plastic thingy that goes on top the battery indicator and when you moved the upper screen, the console would turn off out of nowhere. Bye bye sleep mode. After a few hours of use, I was charging it and boom, it died. A fuse must have blown because it smelled like barbecued circuits.

The guy didn't take responsability for it, and my nephew wants to kill me.

As a good uncle, I decided to buy him another new, used, of course, and that's when I spotted a white DSi + Cooking Mama + R4 for 80 dollars. On the other hand, there's a DSi XL for 110, without games and flashcart.

What should I get? Normal DSi or DSi XL?

Have in mind that I'm from Argentina and electronics here (well, not just electronics, everything) is extremely pricey.

Why buy him a DSi XL for $110 when you can buy for around that price or less on eBay or whatnot? Also: my birthday is this week. So feel free to skip him and go straight to me. I sure could use a 3DS. (:

Edit: sorry, for some reason I read Los Angeles instead of Argentina. I hope that wasn't a subconscious racist thought. Anywhoo, it'd probably be much more expensive to ship to Argentina, but you should still look.
