what the title says. I believe even the DSTWO dont have 3d acceleration. that could be bad for emulators, and a posibility for many of them. but hey, will the dstwo ever have a sequel. its been like more than 2 years since the product was released.

Adding 3D acceleration wouldn't really do much for a new Supercard revision. There's only so much power the current Supercard can pull out of the NDS card slot, adding more hardware to it would only upset whatever power balance it achieved, as well as making the card itself much larger. Not to mention that only adding 3d acceleration probably wouldn't allow much more emulation over snes without a significant boost in processing power, which again, uses more power.

I'm no hardware expert though--if it could be done, I imagine the price of such a card would match that of a separate handheld device that is much better equipped for emulation.

If you aren't happy with the Supercard's current emulation capabilities, don't buy a Supercard. The concept behind the Supercard DS2 hardware was never intended to be purely for emulation, but for media consumption (IPlayer). The emulation capabilities was just an added bonus that it manages to work as well as it does.

you mean on the 3DS with 3DS mode? or the NDS because i do know that the NDS slot1 is very limited in bandwith. though i dont know the exact limit 4mb? 512kb?
