I have the full game (JAP Version) and it's a pretty nice game I have to say :)
You should try out the demo tomorrow too as it gives you a Special Skill when you transfer the demo save file to the full game :D

Well, duh we're going to try the Demo out, the game looks pretty tits. :tpi:
The only thing that I dislike about the game though is that when you overuse your skills they can be broken and you must fix them (somehow) in order to use them again and you can also level them up :P

I just made this for some USA guys on GF as it's still not up there due to downtime maintenance on the store:

Screens I've made (75) http://s1115.photobucket.com/user/beckyhp/library/Soul Sancrifice EU Demo - ENGLISH?sort=3&page=1

EDIT
In Germany you need PSN+ to get the demo lol!
EDIT2 11:10 18/0

So what does everyone think? I've played all the SP stuff and quite a few online rounds and I would be lying if I didn't say I am a little disappointed.
The game is fun but I dunno.. I knew it was a raid game but that's all there is.
It kinda reminds me of a 3D TWEWY but with a much darker theme and story.

I have my preorder paid off but now I'm really on the fence about the game.
The graphics are terrible too imo it looks like an upscaled PSP game. Maybe it originally was meant for PSP. I understand it could be due to the online nature of the game as it does play extremely smoothly online.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you--turned out to be a lot less appealing than I thought it would be, so I'll probably hold out until it's cheap or free on PS+.

well, played the demo today morning by myself, and i have to say "IT SUXX". Sry for the harsh word, but wtf?
i mean cmon no base weapon? take up a bone and voila u get a mighty big hand (max 12 uses).
controls for range weapons (not elemental atacks) is a grin in the ass.
if a monster bypasses your screen, u cant aim and follow him at the same time (hes twice as fast as you can aim).
graphicaly it looks very promising but gameplaywise is it one of the worst vita titels i have played so far.
shure its bether than pool, guacamelee and stuff like draw slasher (minis ftw, we will get the 100 games sony promised xD)
but in the end its an experiment gone badly wrong. just my opinion.
for me there are only 2 pros:
graphics (well it could be bether but cmon its a portable console)
storytelling (i would love to try japaneese voices, but i have to say the english ones are realy realy good.

Agreed... feels like a dumbed down Monster Hunter for casual crowd (that believes they are hardcore because the game's theme is undead-ish but are really playing a casual version of Monster Hunter for ppl that will never be hardcore enough)

The more I play it the more I like it it's definitely a slow burner.
It's weird because I couldn't get into Monster Hunter despite really wanting to like it.
I tried Freedom Unite on PSP and Tri on Wii (which I still have) but it just never clicked. I guess they really shine with MP as I only played SP and wrote them off pretty quickly.
I think SS is the same it's quite good online, I've played enough of the demo now to know I'll like the full game so I've decided to keep my preorder which should come Mon/Tuesday.

Some guys I talk with on GF have put 50+hrs into the demo, I have about 4 or 5 tops. One guy has 200 but I think it might be a glitch as 200hrs since it released isn't really possible lol

I like Monster Hunter, but not as much as Soul Sacrifice. The main difference is that, in Soul Sacrifice, enemies are faster and more aggressive and dodging is a lot smoother, so you don't get hit anywhere near as much (if at all), meaning battles are always pretty exciting since you have to stay on the move and come properly equipped. I also prefer the way grinding works in Soul Sacrifice - there's no desire sensor or percentage chance for enemies to drop stuff, but simply a rating system that determines how many spells you get by how well you performed. They made it pretty simple to know what missions you need to grind in order to get the spells you want, which is very good, and they offset that by making you require an awful lot of spells to be able to do more than simply get extra uses.

I have 23 hours and 23 minutes myself. It's quite replayable. I'm probably going to have about 30 hours on the demo by Friday, when the game is delivered (yay ShopTo.net!) since, at the moment, I'm trying to unlock the white raiment for a certain outfit.

If you preordered you get the Japanese stuff I won't be using my code though as I don't understand the language.

I'll keep the code card for when I ebay the game, they usually add some value.
