The Yoshi game on the DS was one of my favourite DS games

I hope Artoon isn't involved with this. I couldn't get into Yoshi's Island DS because it felt more like a fanhack than a sequel to the SNES. Either way, I'm glad I ordered the 3DS XL!

It looks alright but I was never a big fan of the yoshi island games, it seems to be a remake of the original.

I'm pretty sure the giant egg thing shown at the end wasn't in the original. It just looks the same because of the art style.

Zelda LttP 2 and Yoshi's Island 3DS aren't remakes or ports. They're sequels, completely new games!

In Japan Zelda 3DS already has a subtitle even, Kamigami no Triforce 2, Yoshi still doesn't have a full title yet.

Yes, watch the 3DS trailer from the eShop to see more. The new Zelda title doesn't even have an English name yet. Everything including story, mechanics, areas will be new, the only thing that this title shares with LttP is the world. Yoshi's Island is a new game too, Iwata even says it's the third installment in the video, just look at the giant egg throwing bit at the end.
