Still something I'm planning on. Just a free time issue. The WAD manager I was basing it off of, though, can only deal with emuNAND in the ROOT of the SD or USB drive. You know of any that can do it from a folder? It would be something to look into.
Really couldn't tell ya. Too bad there isn't a way to do it via neek2o...

@ Fix, abz, or anyone else who knows, What is the max size a banner can be? I think it'd be awesome if we could use banners to play music videos assigned to specific MP3s or visualizations that way. Or maybe it'd be better as game trailers. Thoughts?

making a .gif animation is one thing , but transform it to a channel is another..

could i transform gif to channel !!??

YES, it´s possible

LEGAL base

15 frame (banner) can be added if needed
7 frame (icon) can be added if needed
It's easy to speed it up or slow it down

If you add more frame, do not forget to update tpl folder

Not yet available:

vecxwii 56454358
And I just looked at the code for vecxwii and it will be REALLY simple to make a plugin. Just finished the code for it. I'll compile when I get time.

EDIT (3:50pm my time) : I probably won't be able to get to a computer where I can compile this until like 11pm tonight so in case anyone wanted to compile it before then, just thought I'd throw the code out there. You just replace this file in the code you get linked in WiiBrew and it should do it : http://www.mediafire.com/view/?6bo9vnip2ph3jls

Here you go, test it please: https://www.dropbox.com/s/wcp33xf92zcyuvb/hatari_0.04_Plugin.rar
if all is good I'll add it to the pack

to go back to wiiflow press "Home" and select "Quit"

Edit: it seems this emulator has very poor compatibility many games gave errors or empty screens, I'll do more testing and share the findings...
Edit2: Can't go to "Options" neither when I run from WiiFlow nor from HBC
1 (Barbarian) out of 5 games booted but I was unable to play
USB keyboard works fine
Edit3: Bios files called "tos.img" seems to be the culprit, there are many versions available, I'll test and find out the best one

So it returns to wiiflow without changing anything? Well, good.

The options aren't working in this w.i.p version, sorry.
Look for another tos.img for best compatibility. The file included is legal but not the best one for games.
To be honest, this version was for my personal use and incomplete. Not even sure to finish it.:P

which tos works best for games?

Just wondering, does D2X version have anything to do with font not showing up, not creating the ini, dump on theme change, etc? I think I'm still rockin v9 on my wii.
Well afaik D2X is mostly for playing games and emuNANDs, not sure if it would be affecting your current issues, but I would definitely recommend upgrading to one of the v10's based on your needs or even downgrading to v8 lol.

I'm not sure what's going on with your setup since, I cannot reproduce any of those issues but, have u tried making a wifi log? Maybe something interesting will show.

MISSING PLUGINS LOVE GALORE!!! XD

:D Time for a break from that for me though. I've got something else I'd like people to test though. Its always bothered me that Wiiflow can't handle caching different covers for games from different systems with the same filename. A while back I wrote a dirty hack to get the cover cache to prefix each file with the cover folder's name:
http://code.google.com/p/open-wiiflow-mod/issues/detail?id=81

Anyway, I've cleaned this up and switched it to creating cache folders for the plugins, if enabled.

To enable it, just add plugin_cache_folders=yes under the GENERAL tab of your wiiflow.ini, with my build loaded in.

That is nice man, I'm going to try it out for a few games, like Ecco and Earthworm Jim. Unfortunately can't test tonight though. Good things are a-happenin round here!! 4.1.1f r895 is smooth as butter, and hmm.. what shall we call your cache fix? 4.1.1f r895 super fragilistic matt0620 cache fix..? Yea sounds good :creep:

which tos works best for games?
You may already have found the answer yourself : TOS 1.02 is a good choice for a lot of games but some of the oldest require 1.00 and the latest ones could work better with 2.06.

Good to see an intellivision plugin matt0620. Will test it later.
Your fix for plugins cache is really a good idea. I've compiled a version earlier with the diff you posted on googlecode. It seems it does the trick.
I'll try the one you just posted. Thank you.

hey great, if ppl that use a lot of plugin stuff confirm this working, you can ask fix if you can add it to mod svn..

I added Lost Kingdoms to my Gamecube library (along with about 30 other games) and now for some reason Lost Kingdoms 2 which I've had for ages isn't showing up anymore. I checked the games folder, and the iso is still there. Any idea why this one game (as far as I know) is hiding? Oh, and I started with a fresh category ini, so that ain't it...

Is the most recent wiiflow release (v4.1.1 aka r895) compatible with dios mios 2.9 (yes, I mean 2.9 and not 2.8 - there was a small update to dm recently)? I'm asking this because I changed from usb loader gx to wiiflow (because of that awesome neek2o support and the option to have everything from wii games over emulators and emulated nand in one single place) and tried booting a gamecube game (zelda wind waker, pal version). While it worked fine with usbloader gx, I always get a code dump when I try with wiiflow. The result after testing my other GC games was the same - wiiflow showed a code dump every time. Is there any special setup required other than having dios mios installed for this to work? I've also checked the config file. The games dir is set correctly (otherwise the games wouldn't show up in wiiflow in the first place) and the option "dm_r2.1+" is set to yes. Thanks in advance for any help. If there's no solution yet I shall reinstall Dios Mios 2.8 and see how things work out
