Shame no Chinese manufacturer has jumped on the ball and made LCD Replacements for the Original GBA with backlight built in xD

Very cool! Is it about equal clarity as a AGS-001? Your mod work is the best I have ever seen. Packaging is out of this world from the pictures I've seen. For your level of detail and quality control you really deserve notoriety. I hope to order from you soon.Just cranked out my first front lit GBC for a customer. They're a snap to mod as long as you cut the front light assembly itself and not so much the GBC shell (which allows you to place the assmbly horizontally like it should be, instead of being illuminated from the side).

Are you still doing the GBA mods? I emailed Zerey about two days ago and he never replied, but after doing a bit of research I found out that you're his connect in the US.Why not use an SP battery?

Sometimes it takes some days before he replies. Are you still doing the GBA mods? I emailed Zerey about two days ago and he never replied, but after doing a bit of research I found out that you're his connect in the US.

He will reply. I modded mine a week ago more or less...
Can you upload a picture of the GB with the screen on Wiggatron??? It looks really cool.
HeroicJocker, I did mine just with a kitchen knife.... XD
Just be patient and don't press too hard!!! For the battery thing, I don't really think it is necessary. You can simply get rechargable batteries and that way you won't fuck up the GBA!!!
Since i'm sick at home (the flu, no work for me today) i had time enough to be bordered with multimetering all the connectors on the 32pin agb-001.
Ang guess whatthe pinouts are exactly the same as the ags-001 display! Except for pin 33 and 34, but they are there to give power to the forntlit, so that is no surprise.
Only one minor issue though, both main boards have the connector mirrored.. so you can't just simply pop in the ags-001 display into the agb-001, you need to mirror the cable, that's all...
So when my extra ribbon cable's and connectors are in, i only need to solder the connector mirrored on the cable and the 'mod' cable is finished..
The guy making these cables should really give a discount on people requesting the 32pin mod cable![]()

Have you tried to back-read this thread? I already posted the pinouts here.Hey, could you post or send me the pinouts plz. it would be SO appreciated![]()
well, I thought you made the pinouts for the 40 pin, because i have the 32 pin version. I have read this whole thread from the beginning.Have you tried to back-read this thread? I already posted the pinouts here.

No, that's an original AGS-101 screen from Nintendo. Took it out of my GBA SP myself.Looks great! Which display is that? Wiggatrons?
