Hi, I recently had a problem with the EZ Flash but has been resolved, thanks again!:)

However I now new problems appeared, on GBA this time. The problems are: sometimes after i recharge the battery the light turns red and it shuts down for no reason with very little playing time, when switched on again the light turns green and everything seems normal, this leads to the another problem, the battery is discharging very fast (around 2 hours:sad: ).

The GBA has been turned off for a long time before I buy the EZ Flash.

Any idea?

The google translator and my english is bad, sorry!!

Bad Battery would be my guess also, but on top of that please also remember flash carts eat more power than normal ones do.

Also have you tried Fully charging and discharging 3 times uninterrupted?

Charge it to max, then power it up with the EZ-Flash in and leave it till its dead 2 or 3 times. Could be the battery just needs to stretch its legs a little given you mentioned its been unused for quite some time.

I've recharged the GBA a few times after I buy EZFlash. The battery must be really bad.

This happened to me a few times and apparently it was the power switch and not the battery, I still haven't fixed it but I noticed it from time to time, the battery is still in good condition to boot, so check your power switch, it may be a loose contact or the like.

I've been having the same problem with my Gameboy Micro. So, replacement battery then?

Whereas most aftermarket batteries are sketchy (stay away from the "2000 mAh" DSi batteries), I bought a wonderful 850mAh battery for my SP on eBay, and it actually has its advertised capacity.
Since my SP's old battery was on its way out, my battery capacity doubled!

Watch out though; I bought mine at $5, and now it's at $25.

Same issue here with my gba sp, apparently the battery still holds up the charge, but sometimes, the led behaves anormally marking red color with full charge. IIRC NDS battery is compatible with gba sp, right?

If you can get ahold of a battery for the original DS (not i, Lite, etc), it's the same physical size as a GBASP battery and just needs some minor surgery to make batteries for one work in the other(similar to how you make an SNES play imports by just pulling out the tabs) .

Ok , I'll take your advice.....I think that it's funny how this little monster has been able to be relevant as a hand held due to it's size and the ability to be easily played in direct sunlight. These are the reasons that i still use it a lot on trips outside where my 3ds and PSP you either crank up the light to max (Eating away at battery power faster) or find some place well shaded.
