Lately I've been playing some RPG's on gba and ds, and I was wondering what RPG's you guys and gals like to play! Here's a couple I have right now!
1. Final Fantasy ( All of them)
2. Golden Sun Series
3. Pokemon Emerald ( If that counts)
4. Castlevania Series
5. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
Thanks Peoples!~

Ooooo! I forgot TWEWY! I've been told to play Fire Emblem! Is it really that great? Like Final Fantasy?

only for GBA and DS?
I would go first with the Golden Sun games for the GBA. That was the game that got me into RPGs. The puzzles are top notch, The battle system is fun and dynamic (with the Djinns and all that shit), and the music is the best you could find in any RPG (Motoi Sakuraba = GOD).

DS RPGs:
Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey
Endless Frontier
Dragon Quest IV
Final Fantasy IV

GBA RPGs:
Golden Sun 1&2
Mario & Luigi Super Star Saga
Mother 1+2 (Played the first one with the English translation)
Zone of the Enders the Fist of Mars
Castlevania Aria of Sorrow
All of the Super Robot Taisen games minus the first Original Generation game (Didn't like it that much but it was good)

There are other RPG games I would probably put on the list but I still haven't played them yet

My personal favorites:
Bowser's Inside Story
Super Robot Taisen OG Saga Endless Frontier
Chrono Trigger
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn
Pokemon main series (although I did enjoy some spinoffs as well and am thinking of replaying Ranger 2 some day)
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (series, but mostly Sky)
Kingdom Hearts: X/X Days (the missions got repetitive, but the battle system was okay, the slot system was pretty fun to use and local multiplayer was cool)
The World Ends With You
Castlevania (if that even counts)

Not in any particular order. These are all for the DS.

Others have said it, but play The World Ends With You if it looks at all interesting to you.
Knights in the Nightmare is also fantastic, and I hold it up there with TWEWY in terms of depth of gameplay and overall quality.
The Shin Megami Tensei games are all top notch RPGs and a good challenge.

Superstar Saga was muuuuch better than its two sequels, pacing was incredible and it was throughly challenging.

As for other good RPGs....
Radiant Dawn
Summon Night Swordcraft Story 2
Nostalgia
Tales of Hearts (jap only but battle system is incredible)
the sequel to Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon that only came out in japan, it has a completed english patch however.
Mother 3, english patch too, absolutely phonemal rpg, especially if you loved Earthbound

Speaking of patches, SaGa 2 and 3 remakes on the DS also have fan patches available. They're pretty nice remakes, though the series itself can be a pit offputting.

Say whaaat. I loved the GB versions of both of these games, though I'll admit I didn't play all the way through the DS versions (patches were incomplete at the time).

Incidentally, since this was posted near the beginning of January, I'm going to assume the OP has decided on what to play next? So, what did you pick, you crazy young man?

The DS has tons and tons of RPGS on it. I'm a huge fan of rpgs/jrpgs and can go on forever with lists of good games but here's a few titles for the hell of it.( sorry if some have been previously mentioned )

All DS titles

Radiant Historia - AMAZING story, highly recommended
Soma Bringer - Hasn't been released in the west, you'll need to use a flash cart but there's a complete English translation patch, it's also from the same makers of xenoblade
Suikoden Tierkreis
Etrian Odyssey I + II + III
Dragon quest V
Dragon quest IV
Dragon quest VI
Dragon quest IX
Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 1 + 2
Infinite space
Summon Night: Twin Age
Solatorobo Red the Hunter
Phantasy Star 0
Orcs & Elves
Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals
Might and Magic Clash of heroes
Okamiden
Castlevania Down of Sorrow - (my favorite out of the series)
Children of Mana
Devil Survivor series
Disgaea
Tales of Hearts
Tales of Innocence
Knights in the Nightmare
Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume
Rondo of Swords
Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled
Nostalgia
Golden sun: Dark Dawn
Lunar Knights
Contact

(FF series left out)

Ok getting bored of listing, but that should be enough :). None of the listed games are bad in my opinion. I have good memories and experiences with all, also I didn't like the world ends with you at all, imo it's overrated, but I understand and respect those who love it. Though there are lots of other fantastic ds rpgs that could use some of TWEWYs attention.

I highly recommend Soma Bringer. Since it wasn't released in the West you will need a flashcard, and luckily there's a full English translation, so you'll need to patch it with that. The DS is my favorite gaming device and RPGS are my favorite types of games so if anyone wants to talk about some DS rpgs or the DS in general then hit me up^_^. Have fun! :nds:
