Hacking cant get into recovery

Sorry I cant chime in on this I use ME 1.8 on my 1000 and LME 1.8 on my 3000

Short of mentioning you could try ME instead I am stumped since I have never bothered with Pro

I have always use PRO (well since it has been going) never heard of this but if renaming SEPLUGINS does not work I would try Kouen Hasuki's idea and install ME

Out of curiosity what is it you need to enter recovery menu for, maybe we can find a way to fix that issue with a Homebrew app.

Also I remember a plugin that put most of the recovery menu options in the settings menu I can't recall its name though if I remember Ill put it here or if anyone else knows that would help.

Agreed, but on the chance it doesn't get sorted we should be able to get around it somehow.

i renamed it to seplugins to sepluginss and rebooted
i lost the hack again
fast recovery still worked
select did nothing as uasual

i switched from m33 because digimon adventure for some reason didnt work on it but worked as soon as i switched to pro c

i wanted to go into recovery so i could use cwcheat
playing games that arent in a language i can read gets complicated so i wanted to cheat lol

i have no idea what me is

You can enable plugins manually by editing the text files in SEPLUGINS there should be three.

VSH.txt
GAME.TXT
POPS.TXT

If you open GAME.txt in notepad you should have a line that says " ms0/SEPLUGINS/cwcheat.prx" or something similar it will have a 1 or a 0 after it.

If it has a 0 that means it is not enabled and changing it to a 1 will enable it if it has a 1 then it is already enabled if its not working the version you are using might not be compatible with your FW.

do i rename to
ms1/SEPLUGINS/cwcheat.prx
or
ms0/SEPLUGINS/cwcheat.prx1?

and if i need vsh.txt how do i get it?

Neither, correct way is

ms0:/SEPLUGINS/cwcheat.prx 1

OR

ms0:/SEPLUGINS/cwcheat.prx 0

I'd uninstall the PRO cIPL, then uninstall PRO, then reboot, then reinstall PRO, then try the cIPL.

I think it might be worth trying to install ME.

ME is just another custom firmware features are pretty much the same

i might try it if i ever need recovery again but now i think ill just stick with pro and never turn my psp off
