Do a PSP 3000 with 6.60 PRO firmware support 64GB microSD with a normal MSPD adapter? Do I need to transfer games using ONLY the cable like the Photofast do? Is formatting it to FAT32/exFAT/NTFS specifically needed?

Let's say I have a well set up Photofast adapter with 2 microSDs, removing 1 of them would render the PSP unable to read it alright, if I inserted it back again will the PSP recognise it again?

MSPD is too expensive and doesn't have capacity larger than 32GB while I didn't try an adapter before..
So please anyone with the right info give me some guidance :)

EDIT: I can save more money if I buy either Transcend, DNA, ADATA or KINGMAX microSD. Any of them are recommended, anyway if I buy Sandisk there will be a lifetime warranty, not sure about the listed brands

I use the photo fast with a single 32GB Samsung Class10 mSD. If I wanted to expand it with a second card, I would need to copy out all files before putting the new card in, then reformat. This is because the photo fast would read both cards as a JBoD partition. Taking one card out after that would break the file tables, so another reformat would be required. Sticking it back in should work, as long as nothing was written to the incomplete half.

Samsung, Transcend, Kingston and authentic SanDisk cards are best, though of the 4 I've owned it's the Samsung that gave the best results.

I don't think PSP has any issues with 64GB cards as long as you don't exceed the XMBs capacity for titles (100 iirc, same as vita)

Thank you very much for your valuable answer (at least to me, lol)
I've bought a brand new PSP 3000 Vibrant Blue for 140USD, is it very expensive ?_?
Also ordered a 64GB Sandisk C10 Mobile Ultra for 65USD, lastly I will be going to buy an adapter and hope it'll work with the microSD tomorrow..

By the way, do you think will be any more potential drop on the price of microSD in the future? The 64GB is really expensive for me, just asking ~

Anyway, thanks again (:

Slowly coming down, but I don't see much more room for it to go down further. Besides, SDXC is only just coming out so the market has yet to stabilise.

FYI, there is a technical problem when it comes to formatting SDXC cards, and its too complicated to explain from a smartphone on my lunch break.

Okay fine, then would there be any issue if I just use 1 card in Photofast and removing it back n' forth?
