Just a thought, but has anyone downgraded the version # of vwii ios? I was wondering if a wiiu update would detect the lower version # and update it. If wiiu did update it, perhaps downgrading version # of modified system ios or theme menus would be a good idea, then wiiu could just update it to remove what you screwed up? Or would wiiu just auto update it?

Right, vwii title's with a lower version #. Say patch your system vios with trucha and such for sd wiiware or what not. Would a wiiu update restore the original system vios? If it did my thought is that a wiiu update would fix vwii is the version numbers where lower should you mess up vwii.

No one really knows until a vWii update is actually released. Anything else is speculation as to what would/will happen

Nonsense. What mauifrog is suggesting could easily be tested right now. Seeing as you clearly don't understand what he is suggesting, it might be best if you don't comment about it.

Now on topic: I would assume it would certainly be replaced in the case of an update, but I'm not sure if WiiU auto updates vWii titles or not. If it did, obviously it would be useless.

Regardless, it seems pointless to me. As I have stated dozens of times before (and probably will again) I see no merit in any patched IOS, seeing as anything useful can be achieved via HW_AHBPROT anyway. Themed SMs probably wouldn't be possible anyway, due to the additional encryption etc. (same reason why AFAIK Priiloader still can't be installed on vWii).
