Borderlands 2 G4's GOTY

Eh, there's more to her than anarchy. I've seen builds that focus on Deathtrap wipe out entire levels (upshot robot skill adds to his duration for each kill, and he can have at least two AoE attacks), and she has a focus on elemental stuff as well that can deal lots of damage of specced out carefully but I know less about this, only skimmed the topics.

Of course there is more to her. The Sharing Is Caring ability (grants a copy of your shield to Deathtrap) combined with a powerful Roid shield can demolish enemies, almost endlessly if you combine that with Upshot Robot. But, the fact still remains that Anarchy is quite gimped, which is an entire skill tree. Mainly since most players won't feel like farming several levels worth of weak enemies every time they boot up the game.

If Anarchy was saved when you exit, she'd be fantastic. Homing bullets combined with upwards of +700% damage is no laughing matter.

no sighting of walking dead? hmm beaten by guild wars 2. maybe some other award ceremony will appreciate it. why is the final's margin so huge while the others arent? it beat ac3 by 10% but dishonored by 50%?!

walking dead won on spiketv but shooter went to borderlands 2

Walking Dead got Spikes VGA GOTY. Also, it could be a number of factors, people just simply didn't vote for dishonored. People forgot to vote. Or there was just that much hate for Dishonored because it beat Guild Wars 2.

The pistol has a drop rate of 1.8%, I believe. The Conference Call is even less.

Conference Call
The only reasonable way to get a Conference Call is to:
1) Start another character.
2) Reach the end of True Vault Hunter Mode.
3) Kill the Warrior, but don't call the Moonshot Strike.
4) Deactivate and then reactivate your Badass Points (to manually save).
5) Get friend to join game.
6) Call Moonshot Strike.
7) Let friend collect Orange items.
8) Let friend deactivate and then reactivate their Badass Points.
9) You then ALT-F4, or quit without saving (whatever method that is, for console).
10) Once he's full of oranges, tell him to give them to you.
11) Hope that he gives them to you.

Trust me, this is faster than farming the Warrior, even considering that you have to beat the game again twice for this method. I've heard of players killing him over 1,000 times, and still no Conference Call.

You have a roughly 75% chance for him to drop an orange this way, with perhaps a 18%-20% for a Conference Call.
 I played the game none stop for the first little while when it came out, stopped for a bit (like three weeks), came back and killed the Warrior twice and he dropped it. I didn't realize the Conference Call was THAT rare of a drop...

EDIT: After posting this my bro and I went looking for an Infinity Pistol. We killed Mercy around seven times and found one XD

My only gripe with the game is it's so damn hard to get 1 million bucks. Every time I get to the 950k range, I die, and lose about 70k.

I used to hate Anarchy. I thought, "Why did the devs do this to us?"

Then I started playing around with Rational Anarchist and Discord. I'm OK with only having 25 stacks now.

Stopped taking you seriously.

What brilliant writing

Look at the actual writing
It's kind of hard to do that when two of the five main characters are walking, talking, internet meme machines, amidst a game that tries very hard to make you laugh using edgy off-color humor, then slathering on a little bit more of that internet "culture" for assurance. They took Jack, the only rather solid character at the start, and threw him down said dark and edgy hole in order to create the travesty they call an ending.

At the end of the day no one is in it for the writing. (If you are, you're part of the problem.) It's the gameplay mechanics and level progression that they're in for and keep coming back to. Hell, that is why I have two maxed characters myself.

PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS PUNS

You are nothing but a spammer. Everything about you is spammy and we can disregard everything you say because that's all you are is spam. It's so obvious from one post, we can all tell to not take you seriously because lets face it, your entire character is a spammer. Here is the post to prove it.
See, I can take one example and pretend it represents the entire thing too

What brilliant inability to tell an obvious video game reference stated by an insignificant decoration NPC apart from the story of the game.

Nah, I know you're not stupid, that's just a cop-out. And honestly I'm disappointed. I didn't think you would grasp at straws so weakly to try to make an example out of something. Seriously dude, that's the equal of taking a line from the random background talk of a movie and using it to declare the movie has shitty writing. It's something a five year old would do.
