A friendly note of thanks.
For some reason, people are going off the wall about the THQ Bundle, saying how it kills the spirit of the Humble Bundles because it's not DRM free, it's not multi-platform, they're titles from a (single, at that) major dev, the $1 minimum for Steam keys (which has been around since very close to the beginning of Bundles), among some other things. Saying it's a last resort before THQ closes up shop (as they've fallen on harder times, it appears).
I say screw it. I think this Bundle is fantastic. I was absolutely amazed to see this many mainstream titles in one Bundle at a set-your-own-price scheme, as is usual for Humble Bundles (what would the bundle be without that?) I just wanted to give you guys a word of thanks for providing such a great bundle (despite not being able to pay much for it as I am a bit low on my money as well), a word of encouragement to ignore the flak you guys may get personally (as a group) and publicly on the internet for how different it is from the typical Bundle, and a suggestion that you guys try to have more Bundles like this one, of course depending on what developers are willing to jump on board for it.
Again, thanks guys. I've bought every bundle since Humble Indie Bundle 2, which at the end, included Humble Indie Bundle 1. It's great, and it must be awesome to see the other sites that have popped up from inspiration, running deals like yours (first coming to mind is Indie Royale).
Regards, and happy gaming,
