Hacking So, another new 3DS group...

In case you missed it, the 3DS finally has a group that can dump awesome little Japanese games (Kirin)

Anyone know how these groups are verifying their backups are 1:1 or playable?

At this point, nobody without advanced equipment is able to verify that (meaning, nobody except for release groups themselves).

Unfortunately at this point in time we have no means of making sure they were dumped properly. For all we know once the 3ds is hacked they'll all have to be dumped again.

And I HAAAAAATTTTEEEEEEEE people who think piracy will kill the 3DS. The Ds was hacked, like 1 year after it was released. Guess what, it didn't die. The GBA had dozen of flashcards, and yet, it didn't die.

Piracy doesn't kill a console, crappy games and bad hardware does.

Well, I don't care. I also have enough money to buy my games. *) It's those whiners that are pissing me off. Mostly it's the bigottry: "no, I'd never pirate, homebrew only", but having a HDD chock-full of the latest releases. That's 99% of those asshats.

So, I pirate and I'm proud of it.

I never thought about it this way but it looks logically sound,also the 3DS did not have any great games in the last year except the Legend of Zelda and the Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask.

whats to say its not already hacked but because piracy is unavoidable from it there looking for other methods.
