is it true that the psp 2000 and 3000 do not play full screen on a wide screen tv?
It's not whether the TV is widescreen or not, it's that they don't render in or upscale to the higher resolution, so they play in a small window in the center of the screen.

Just one of the many reasons the PSP's video-out sucks... if it didn't it'd be fantastic as a mobile emulation platform.

If you want to capture video, RemoteJoy Lite is a good alternative - all you really need is a miniUSB-to-USB cable and the app. The audio can be captured over a standard jack-to-jack cable.

With that kind of a setup, you can upscale the image all you want, but beware of the scary pixels.

FuSa SD is also capable of upscaling, but as it was mentioned earlier, with mixed results, as it hasn't been updated in a while. There are unofficial builds floating around though, so you can grab those.

doesnt the psp 3000 output to rca as long as you have the cable? i thought it was only the psp 2000 that could only output progressive scan? or something like that..... if someone would like to clarify, thatd be great. im in the market for a psp2000/3000 :P
