Here we are again!
I just uploaded the Beta for 1.6 which you can find HERE.
It features custom Translations. Currently you can choose between English, German and Spanish Languages but you can simply create your own by changing a translation-file with notepad.
There are some minor Layout issues and the Credits are still unused, but that will be fixed in the real update. I'm thinking of a new way to install fonts too, because it's very uncomfortable right now.

can you add support for stretching the aspect ratio to fill the 3DS screen?
I fixed aspect ratio before, never thought anyone would have it back. I will see if I add an option for that, but remember: Stretching is evil and kills kittens! ;)

Thank you for your translation. :yaynds:
Funfact: I wonder why there isn't yet a Japanese Translation, i've looked the statistics up and found out that 50% of all Downloads come from Japan.

btw, i have a doubt, why do 3ds only allow u to watch 10 minutes? i sold mine before know this converter, i'm wondering if it worths buy a 3DS XL as gaming + multimidia nowadays.

It's because the 3DS was never meant play videos. Nintendo only allowed recording videos up to 10 minutes and therefore you can only play videos up to 10 minutes.

hm, thanks for the info, but it sounds too stupid from nintendo, a powerfull handheld that can't even have a nice player like PSP does, nintendo is too lazy. XD

yeah but then i can use more of the 3DS screen resolution to see dead Kittens J/K. some of my vids just barely have black lines and i think the stretching will be minimal, and provide more detailed full images on my XL. for the videos that stretch (IE not widescreen) too much ill leave the black.
Id also like to say Thanks for this convertor its fast, efficient and the quality at least for Anime is good. thanks to this convertor i found a use for my old 32GB SDHC card now filled with FMA and GHITS. Tankyou tankyou very much NekuSoul

Hey I'm new to the whole 3ds hacking, but I was wondering if I convert a 3d video using your application and try to play it on my 3ds xl. Will it fit the entire screen? I noticed someone above asking for an aspect ratio option and was curious.

It fit our screen but keeps the aspect-ratio. This means if you convert a 4:3 video you will have black borders on the side and when you have a 16:9 Video you will have (very tiny) black borders. This is done on purpose, but I think I will add an option for resizing to screen in the next version.

I just released 2.6 Beta2. B-)
It features a Video Stretching option and the new Translations as well. The Bad thing: Since I needed to introduce a new Vocabulary for the Video-Stretching Option the translations need to be updated. Otherwise the translation will just show "[Stretch]" as a placeholder.
You can download the new version here!
Next up: Proper Preference saving, fixing that Progressbar Glitch, thinking of a better solution for subtitles.

Touch "Edit Video" and black transparent date bar(bottom) is go away, only time bar on up left is remain. Works when watching of Korean drama :-)

but if subtitle is top part of video then you are doomed.

I meant a better solution for the actual conversion of subtitles, but anyway, here's a little tip for you:
Yes, of course I touch "Edit Video" to hide the date. But did you know if you go in the Settings and switch "Info Display" all Infos will be hidden? That way you can watch the video with nothing in your way.

@All People helping out with the translation: Thanks for your work. I forgot to mention that since 1.6 Beta2 the credits for the translation will be displayed on the Progressbar when launching the converter. :yaynds:
