Nice, they really want this game to be successful in Europe. Apparently in Germany there will be a translated version available (usually such games are never translated for the German market). :)
Drawback is, that the German release date is 25th January 2013 because of this (maybe Amazon.de is just wrong, wouldn't be the first time). :(
I can't wait that long, so I will download the PSN version on 23rd October and than buy the GER 3DS version later.

Definitely looking forward to it. I played the English demo a few minutes ago on the Vita, and can't wait. I did take pictures, but uh. Small spoilers I guess, so click only if that's okay with you.

DID YOU READ WHAT I LISTED ABOVE?
ARE YOU SURE?

Got the money in my account ready, just waiting for Amazon to charge me. Still trying to decide whether or not I want to keep the watch, I'm not usually a reseller, but if it goes for anything near the original one I might reconsider.

Well, Aksys finally stated that the NA release is October 23 and changed their release date from "Fall 2012". 4 more days~

Also, they posted a nice 10-minute OVA on the official VLR website if anyone's interested, which is pretty cool and makes up a bit for the lack of a demo on the 3DS, in my opinion. English dubbed of course. Just click the newspaper in the background http://www.virtueslastreward.com/

Wow This is bad. Very disappointing. Now those who preordered before the 17th of September (before the special edition was announced) are getting screwed over. Aksys blames Amazon. Amazon blames Aksys. No one wants to take responsibility.

While I have mine from wave 2, I am still disappointed and feel really bad for them. I mean, Aksys shouldn't have made promises they can't keep. If you guys have checked out the comment sections for the related posts for VLR, you would have seen me play Devil's advocate for Aksys, arguing with weeaboos who blame us "who don't have lives" apparently for not being able to get their preorder bonus. But this time, I felt that Aksys went too far.

Having said that, I do hope they don't decide to screw us who got ours legitly in the 2nd wave just to compensate to the poor guys. Hey don't judge me. I may feel that it is unjust but I am no saint. I am still a selfish bastard in the end.

they will be rare since they made a limited amount ie. only for the people that pre ordered the game after they announced the watches.

OVA is pretty good in English too :D So looking forward to the game. Darn still need to get my hands on a Vita :\

You know after watching the OVA, I kinda wish they used those kinds of animation in place of the 3D models. I don't usually like them 3D models too much except say like the ones in FF13 and such. But meh. That's just me.

I still really want this game but money/age issues.
I could get my brother to buy it for me if I could just pay him. :/
Maybe he'll get it for me for Christmas or something, idk.

The poll has no value.

If you didn't get the game and choose no, how can you vote for the second question?

Because some people can't play some things on consoles they don't have? If I only owned a Vita, I could select that I haven't played 999. But I would like to, and would be able to if it was remade on the Vita. Don't take polls too seriously.

Heheh,
I just stated the obvious

My god, that's really bad! I love Aksys to death, but I wouldn't blame the people who pre-ordered before the 17th for being really pissed. I guess Aksys should've been smarter about this and done something simpler like "As soon as you can preorder this game, the first # of people will be able to get the watch". That would've saved them all the trouble that's happening right now. What's done is done though, and hopefully Aksys will learn something from this. And yes, I have seen you fairly active on those comments XD.

As for the 3D models, I also agree with you on that. When I first saw the game trailer I was kind of disappointed that they had changed from their anime-style and now that I've seen the OVA I was like "If only it had been like this TT.TT". Can't really judge before I get the game though, maybe the 3D models will look better on the 3DS.

Looks like my Pre-Order Bundle is still good, no email yet. I dont really mind getting it a week later than originally planned, I decided to play through 999 before I start this, so I can appreciate it better.

What's this OVA that everyone's talking about?

read my post on the page before this XD.

@[member='BlackAngel5']: I think their mistake lies in them underestimating the 999 fanbase. From what I heard (was it from you? LOL), they had leftover watches from 999 which they had to sell on their site (and for cheap too iirc). So I suppose they were just afraid of being burnt once again. I swear if I had known of the existence of them watches then.......... : \

Then again, it was pretty obvious how popular it was with how fast the 1st wave sold out and still having people craving for the preorder bonus. I personally would suggest that they made more watches. As in crazy mass produce em. There is definitely demand for it. And worst case scenario, just sell em loosely if there really are no buyers (which I doubt). I mean, sure they may have to cut profits. But if they underestimate the power of pissed ripped-off fans, they are gonna have a baaaaad time.

Haha it was from me XD. Yeah, you're right. They should've taken into perspective though that 999 was just a single game that didn't have much advertising, so it would only be logic for it not to have many pre-orders or even maybe big sales in the beginning. However, 999 did get a lot more popular afterwards as word spread and VLR is an indirect sequel and is on 2 consoles instead of one, so it would get all the 999 fans, maybe some new fans, and like Devin said, people who couldn't play 999 cuz they didnt' have a DS and now that they have a Vita can play it, so many more people. I have a feeling that if people keep this up on commenting on their loss and keep emailing them that they'll do something about this whole mess and probably will make more watches. At least, that's what I hope will happen, I don't want Aksys losing a lot of fans and possibly going bankrupt in the future because of this stupid mess.

@[member='BlackAngel5']: And not just that. They've already pissed some people off by making this and Amazon.com exclusive. But personally that is not all too bad. What really gets to me is the fact that a huge number of these disappointed people preordered like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay earlier like this dude who preorder in MARCH. If I were him/her, I'd actually cry so hard.
