Generally i am against milking franchises and stuff, but seeing as the 3DS is a pretty large step up from the DS and devs are lazy these days, what would you all say to rereleasing games upscaled and with a bit of 3D content? Like Devil Survivor for the DS and the rerelease on 3DS as overclocked?

I dont know, I think i would buy some games i missed.

Or what if for some games, Nintendo would release patches to make your DS games compatable with the larger screen and 3D :D

Im just spitballing here, any thoughts?

Personally I say bring it on. Why? Cos from a customer's point of view, the more choices the better. It's not like we are obliged to buy it anyway. Yea but pretty sure it may not be all that feasible and all. :\

Zelda titles would have a huge benefit from this.
Changing from touch-screen to analog would make a drastic gameplay change,
and I think a lot of people would like this change.

Personally, I would love to see Super Mario 64 DS with 3D,
widescreen, better graphics and especially analog support.
Fighting bowser without analog isn't the same.

SM64DS plays quite well on the 3DS with the Slide Pad.

I presume he means true analog support, not moving eight directions.

I played a thoushand times Super Mario 64 DS on a 3DS with the analog.
It's good, but the controls aren't smooth or precise.

Like Emigre said, you can just move in eight directions.
For playing it well you can't stop pressing Y button.

If we compare it to SM3DL, which uses true analog support,
we can see a huge difference.

With all that said, I think SM64DS would have a huge benefit if using analog support natively,
which can be only achieved if it's ported to 3DS
