That's...actually a pretty solid lineup. Seems Nintendo learned from the less than stellar 3DS launch.

Kinda feels like the Vita launch to me. It was pretty solid games wise but suffered/was criticized a lot for having a lot of ports.

Also no Rayman Legends on the list is a bit surprising.

Personally nothing is jumping out at me. Most of the stuff I'll be buying on my Xbox 360.

EDIT: If anyone wants here's a list with "launch window" games as well.

Well, for what it is, and when it's being released, it makes a lot of sense for a lot of ports. Some may disagree, but without ports there would be millions of people screaming "ERMAHGERD! I'm done with NSMB-U, now why Can't I play BLOPS on this damn thing! Kiddie console! Casual! Blah blah blargh!"

Although really a lot of ports will just shift the opinion of "it's a kiddy console!" to "it's a Portendo!" It's kinda why I'm really uninterested, some of this content is upwards of a year old and I can already play it on my current game machine. Exclusives wise for "hardcore gamers" there's like NSMBU and ZombiU. Bleh.

I think it would be a lot harder to shake the stigma of being a Kiddie console than being a Portendo. You release a buttload of ports at launch, after a while, instead of ports, you have parallel releases with 360 and PS3, along with a good number of exclusive titles. Well, at least that's how they would do it if they were smart.

This isn't a horrendous line up, but it isn't very compelling either. If I end up taking the plunge on the console, it won't be at launch.

Batman: Arkham City -- Armored Edition
New Super Mario Bros. U

Eshop stuff (I think I read somewhere these would be at launch, I could be wrong though)

Bit.Trip Presents: Runner 2 Future Legend of Rhythm Alien
Toki Tori 2
Nano Assualt Neo

Looking good for me:)

EDIT: Seems like Runner 2 isn't coming out until January.

I thought soulx would be the one making this thread.

• Assassin's Creed III (Looks good)
• Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition (It does include the dlc as well)
• Darksiders II (Be my starting point of this series.)
• Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two (Liked the first one)
• New Super Mario Bros. U (Looks good)
• Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (...err )
• Scribblenauts Unlimited (...$60?)
• Sonic & All-Starts Racing Transformed (Maybe 3ds, really)
• Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ( or wait and see if Tekken VS comes on it.)
• Warrior's Orochi 3 Hyper (3DS game made me a fan. I wish they bring the other 3ds games over, but this will highly do.)
• ZombiU (Watching, not really high in the list)

Got my attention, but idk which game I would buy first.

Isn't Ninja Gaiden 3 meant to be not a complete fuck up like the other version?
Nintendo is publishing it apparently ... I don't know, the devs are positive that they've fixed what went wrong at least.
IIRC better AI, new enemies/areas, faster and more strategic gameplay, more gore, better replay value... Well that's what we've heard.

Looks good for me! :) Not even including the 'launch window' games.

Well, not like I'll be able to afford them all at launch anyway, 7 games will last me a while. :P

After the Wii and GameCube both missed having a proper Mario game at launch, this is a definite step in the right direction, especially if NSMBU actually brings something significantly new to the series (after three NSMB games in a row that all pretty much went only slightly up from the original Super Mario Bros., they need some innovation).
