Hacking Pokemon Black and White Problem

Im a new user for the Nintendo 3DS XL, and I recently bought mine last September 1. Along with it I bought a R4 card (dont know if its the original one or not, it just says on the cover: R4i 3DS www.r4i-gold.eu) I had Pokemon Black and White downloaded in it, the very reason I bought Nintendo 3DS XL.

I have played Pokemon Black for 6 days on my spare time and I just passed Castelia City (6 days and only 3 badges?! Yeah, Im a busy person). My party Pokemon are in their evolved forms.

But something happened, for some odd reason, my Pokemons didnt gain ANY experience points. I searched the internet and learned anti piracy measures for the game. Is it possible it happened mid-game?

I downloaded other ROMS hosted on different sites, started a new game, but still my Pokemon didnt gain any experience points (right were you choose your starter Pokemon)

I went back to the store where I bought the R4 card, tried using my card to their DS, still no EXP. Tried my SD card to their R4 card with my DS, still no EXP pts.

Can someone help me out here? I really wanna play this game so bad on R4.

That has to be the Rom's problem. You won't find any rom here on Gbatemp, since it's forbidden. You need to have a patched EXP rom. It was one of the very first problems pokemon black and white had. You probably just downloaded a very old file.

How come I encountered the problem after 10 hrs of playing? I mean, I have raised my Pokemon on to their 30s and only encountered the problem. If the ROM was the problem, shouldnt the error be on the start of the game?

It SHOULD. However, you said you received it when you arrived at Nimbasa or somewhere near that. I don't know why that happened, but it's still the same problem.

BUT, downloading a new rom doesn't mean you lose your save data. You should know that.

Yes I am completely aware with the save file being used to other ROMS of the same title.

I actually have downloaded the same title, 6 different copies. Made copies of my savefile to match the other filenames of Pokemon Black I downloaded. Loaded the game. Tried battling trainers on the area of my saved spot and tried battling wild Pokemon. Still, NO EXP.

I even tried making a new save file, from the beginning. Yet, no EXP PTS from the very first battle with BIanca.

Well, I can't help you any more, since your flashcard is not the same as mine. You should try upgrading your flashcard. That seems to be the problem. There's no way you downloaded 6 times the same file.

I meant same title "Pokemon Black". 6 different Pokemon Black roms from different sites.

Have you tried looking for the actual exp patch? You should be able to take care of the problem if you patch the rom...

Yeah I did, but everytime I drag the ROM to the patcher, I get an error

I think something is wrong with my Nintendo3DS XL..

coz I tried all ways I think possible:

Got a clean ROM and patched it = still no EXP
Got a patched ROM = still no EXP
Got a modded ROM (Blaze Black) = still no EXP

I just wonder why I got the error/anti piracy effect after playing the game for a week (with EXP points)?

Nothing is wrong with your DSi XL. If patching the ROM fails, then there is a problem with your flashcart. Don't just go back and get the same one, get a different one.

So you mean something happened with my Flash Cartridge? What could it be?

Coz it worked fine at first..

And im using 3DS XL. not the old DSi XL.

I went back to the store I bought the flashcart, tried my sd card to his flash cart, still the same problem..

tol.. try mo gumamit ng acekard2i na flash cart. khit hindi mo na i patch yung pokemon b/w gagana yung exp patch nya.. nsa flash cart ang problema at hindi sa unit mo..
