Hacking Riivolution with backups?

Hello. I want to know if there is any way to use Riivolution with a wii backup.

only way I ever heard of it working was with a modchip. don't bank on it

I've heard of people modifying Riivolution to do this, but they do not share the modifications, out of respect. The alternatives are to patch a backup with whatever mods you want and use a regular loader instead of Riivolution, or to actually pay for the games you want to play.

The only solution I can think of is manually replacing the files on the iso your self by using wiiscrubber or some other program.

Riivolution is for loading mods of Wii games, not GameCube games. (You're probably thinking of Devolution.)

It's only a backup if it's a backup of your Original.

The problem is that who made the modification files, says there is no way to patch files into a ISO because they included new files to the DVD. Do you know about a tutorial to patch files to a ISO of the game?

I wish there was a way to use riivolution with backups, I just want to play newer when it comes out and I don't want to buy a second NSMBW disc.
