honestly, sony shouldn't have released any games for the system, and they should have prevented any third party developers from releasing any games for the system as well. after all, if the system was going to sell with no games, y waste any money on development?

TBH I love the idea but I'd stay away from multiplats. Not that there's anything wrong with them but I think a list focusing on what the PS3 only offers seems a bit easier to manage and makes sense.

Or at the very least titles significantly better on the PS3.

Just trying to make life easier.

I appreciate what you're saying. I've made a person limitation to only talk about games I've played and are actually good. There's no chance in hell of they're being hundreds of multi-plats being put up. Fifty titles which I personally recommend is one thing with contributions from others.

MUST DO DARK SOULS! Or is it that you dont have it ?!?

Instead of constantly yelling about it you could just do your own write up.

I really suck at writeups... thats why =/

Like I said before, every PS3 owner should have played either Journey or Flower at least once. Two amazing PS3 exclusive games, albeit a bit short. The only problem with putting them on this list is that they're very hard to accurately describe to someone who hasn't played them...

When someone talk about hard games on the PS3, the very first thing people would say is Demon's Souls(or Dark Souls obviously). This games follows a risk/reward system as you WILL die in this game and you only get one chance. There's no bank, no second chances, no way to put off the inevitable. You will die in this game. When in this soulless form, you'll be permanently stripped of a chunk of your life meter. But even so you will continue to go back as the satisfying feeling of finally completing a stage after over 50 tries is so damn good that you will keep going and going into a a endless abyss of darkness. This game easily tops off as one of the best games on PS3 despite having not any kind of special plot that shines out from all the other JRPGs. The soundtrack is cool as it gives off the eerie feeling of being alone and then suddenly pitted off a huge boss with a song as if this is the very end. I could keep going on and on about this game, but once you tried it. You will seek for more.

Thread cleaned from usual Guild VS Soul.

Anyway:

1) Heavy Rain
2) Flower

I still have a LOT of other games to play (20 or so), so I can't name any more till I repair my PS3 (again).

Played MGS4, found it mediocre and dropped it. I'll one day probably resume it just to complete it.

But I seriously recommend Heavy Rain. Great game. Loved it.

Actually, I remember buying my PS3 for it

Demon's Souls on single player>Everything else.
Still searching for that one :( It's uber-rare around here.

EDIT: An addendum. I loved Heavy Rain so much that I ended up buying the enhanced Move version. And a Move.

I'll one day replay it with that version (which has DLC)

You might as well take Dark Souls if it is that uber rare. Both games tops off as really difficult games depending if you intend to get help or not. Demon's Souls is really easy if you do use co-op, but seeing how they shut down the server i wont see the issue. The best way i found to enjoy the Souls series is to have online on without using the option of co-op. The thrill of being invaded by another player and the satisfying feeling when you thrust your sword through his stomache knowing he will get angry on the other side of the screen as you take his humanity and souls as a reward is soo damn good!

Really wanted to do Dark Souls intead, but seeing how Demon's Souls is a PS3 exclusive while Dark Souls is not i did Demon's Souls instead. Though Dark Souls on PS3 offers bigger community & less hackers than the Xbox360 and PC version. I still turn on my Demon's Souls game once in a while despite having getting 100% unlocked trophies on it.
