It's a wiki, not a news site. In most cases developers are responsible for creating pages for their apps.

They can wait along time for that to happen then for me to go to the effort of creating my own wiki pages for my own project on a totally separate site from my own. In any other scene, these things get created by the community - Elotrolado creates wiki articles all the time for every emulator release, including RetroArch 360/PS3/Xbox 1/Wii - never have I had to 'create' this stuff for myself.

Anyways, if that is the only way it's going to happen, I don't think I'll lose any sleep over being excluded - 1.5% of Android scene sites publicizing RetroArch Android will get the project more exposure than a thousand Wii sites ever could, and that's where a large part of the focus is at for the next release.
I did not say developers must create the pages themselves, merely that is what normally occurs. Anyone who registers can create articles, just like this thread in this forum - which was created by one of your co-developers, not the user community.

I tried creating a page for it but the site gives an 503 error when submitting new pages, which might explain why no one has made one yet.

It's good to know the issue isn't just on my end. Also, after some more fiddling I saw that some CPS1 games have this missing button as well. Specifically, there's no way to choose option 4 in Quiz and Dragons.

The issue with D&D has been known for months - embarrassing to say but I've been too lazy to fix the controls until now (but then again nobody on the crew has bothered fixing it either - so that kinda evens it out) - the controls differ from most standard CPS2 games so it needs to be explicitly configured

Anyway, I'll update FBA to 0.2.97.27 over the next few days so I'll get that sorted.

Glad to hear it's known, I'll be eagerly awaiting the release.

heres a cover i slapped together...

and heres a proper forwarder i made... used parts of an existing mame forwarder(credit goes out to whoever made that) etc

Thanks for your work but change FBA version not affect romset????

Appears interesting core: gpsp-libretro

Did anybody test starfox and starfox2?
Just wondering what other people experience, before I post.

No,not yet, but Final Fantasy 5 and 6 no longer slow down when the mosaic effects are shown for battles. I will try it out tomorrow but it's already 1:30 AM where I live.

Hello!

Before you post, please remember that Starfox 2 is a BETA of an unreleased game. Therefore it has bugs that no emulator can hope to fix and inconsistent frame rates. I am guessing it will probably annoy the author if you post any issues affecting this game :-)

By the way, I had a great time playing Progear yesterday, never had tried that game before. It's beautiful.

Also, when I try to play Hyper SF2, controls work and audio too, but screen is black. Is there a way around this?

Well Star Fox 2 is kind of enjoyable (yeah yeah I know the framerate issues and bugs here and there)
The patch released by Aeon Genesis makes it FULLY playable, repairing some bugs, translating to english and removing debugging features. It plays nice with last snes9x next core

Nice, to hear.
Also I find it that the Pal versions of those games run a lot more consistent.
I'm getting black screen only with starfox2...

Also super double dragon(U)(E)/ double dragong returns ( J ) , hangs at mode select screen, or select button does not work.

Yes, it will affect romsets - there's nothing I can do about this - FBA devs seem to want the user to upgrade their romsets to the latest mame romsets with every new release. So if you don't want to upgrade your romsets, stick to an older version.

Well offcourse that is the case, but snesgx-next seems to struggle less to get the job done.

It 'masks' away the fact that it isn't reaching 60/50fps by using frameskip. SNES9x GX is running those games at 45/50fps (perhaps not even that).

Anyway, as for RetroArch/SNES9x Next, If you run Star Fox 1 or Star Fox 2 as the first ROM, they will run a bit faster than usual. Anyway, compared to PS3/360 it's impressive these two games run as well as they do on Wii without frameskipping - I was expecting far worse. The slight audio pops now and then are very irregular and not really a dealbreaker.

I might investigate more speedhacks for these SFX games or not - not really sure if there's much to be done - but for now I think it's adequate.

I still can't seem to make CPS-1 and Neo-Geo work. I tried using clrmame, then I just caved and downloaded a set called FBANext CPS-1, but it still just gives me error on every game with the exception of Final Fight. Maybe I just need to wait for the next revision of RetroArch?

This is what comes up for me:

No, you need ROMs that are up-to-date - whatever set you downloaded most likely is not. Nothing I can do about this. All of these games work - blame the FBA devs for wanting to go with 0-day MAME ROM dumps. All CPS1 games (and Neo-Geo ROMS under 23/24MB) should work - as confirmed by me.
