Just updated the forwarder to v14, changes:
-smalled down the forwarder size
-now loads via IOS58 and AHBPROT patched out
-supports meta.xml arguments
-can use new priiloader magic word
-added support for that special elf format of linux apps
Download via both official svn and mod svn ;)

I tried to install the new v14 of the forwarder but i get an error -1035, anything I´m doing wrong?
Same here, how I fixed it was to first UNinstall the old forwarder channel (and you can use the new wad to uninstall it with too) then install the new one.
uninstall the new wad then install it again, no need for old wad

thanks for restoring Real/Emunand to B on mode, now all modes can be reached using D-Pad & B on mode shortcuts. However I wonder why did u remove the B-on-mode for source from wiiflow.ini, no harm in keeping it especially for those who don't care about emunand mode.

:)

I tried the new forwarder and 693. Here are my results.

Using Wiiflow 693 with v14b forwarder, Cios used: v5 hermes, D2x v9 beta 49 245-251

Took wiiflow off autoboot (older forwarder) tried devo game. Booted first time, but not second time upon direct return to wiiflow. (Tried this 15x.)

Powered off/on, booted wiiflow, launched same game successfully. powered off/on again, launched game successfully. (did this 15x also)

Powered on, booted wiiflow, launched game sucessfully. Reset wiiflow (B+Home) launched game again sucessfully. (15x)

It appears that wiiflow needs to be reset after the first devo launch (per wiiflow booting) otherwise devo fails to launch again. (possibly something wrong with the hidden channel, or the return command in wiiflow itself?)

Then extracted the forwarder dol and installed it as autoboot. Tried to launch a game and it failed twice, booted third time...it seems to load more than it fails, but it still fails. When devo does successfully launch, I can keep it going with the reset method, but devo doesn't always boot every time you power on.

ugh... i see B on mode has been removed... which sucks. now it keeps opening the INSTALL NAND!?! screen.. and i dont use emu nand so this is really annoying. since people like ABZ are going to complain about the "B on mode/home/about/etc" till the end of time, can we at least have an option to "disable B on mode for emu nand" or "disable b on buttons" cus if youre are just going to have B for source, you have to AVOID hitting the B button if its touching anything else or itll just open the wrong thing...
seam ... I love you man but come on. How hard is it to just press b to access the source menu? Okay I"ll put b on mode back but it seems really silly. :P

by the way I removed it because I'm a little tired of all the options that's been added to wiiflow.ini and thought it would be nice to get rid of one for a change.

Hey folks,
I done a thing

4qlavp.gif

It's a Starnight themed wait animation, 10 frames 100x200 jpg.
might need a bit of darkening to get the edges to fade to black, but it's nearly there.

if anyone fancies using it, i would point you towards this gem:
The delightful abdalah terro's eloquent guide to such shenanigans....

I would but it's half 5 in the morning and my wife is going to kill me.

Been messing around with 4.0.1 and all te functions are working reeeally smooth. However, I got an extrange issue:

-I'm using Wiiflow from SD, witth the app and folders put there in order to boot it through Priiloader. Now, sometimes when I boot on my wii, it seems like Wiiflow doesn't recognize my partitions. I got GC games and emunands in USB partition 1 FAT32, ad Wii games in partition 2 NTFSand I get the select partition screen, in whic I only get SD as an option.Only homebrew in the SD works and gets recognized. The biggest issue comes when entering emunand, because I get code dumped.

TL; DR:Half of the time HDD doesn't get recognized when I install wiiflow to autoboot through priiloader, and even gets code dumps if I enter emunand mode.

working on a ini modifier for PC, i can wholeheartely say you guys have to many options in the ini, and they are all accepting different things...

this one takes yes/no, that one takes 1/0, then we have true/false...

cant you guys make up your frikking mind? xd

edit:

i suggest changing all to 1/0, reading numbers is faster then strings :)

Tried 695, same as before, semi-usable with devo. If anyone can tell me how to get the priiloader dols, or how to add my own splash screen, that'd be great. Also I have a couple requests of Fix94. I have a wode which has better gamecube compatibility over dm/devo. If you could make wodeflow a plugin or just add wode support to wiiflow, I'm sure many wode users would appreciate it. Also I recently started downloading virtual copies of Nintendo power and other mags, and the thought crossed my mind, Wouldn't it be awesome if these could be launched from wiiflow with a Comix channel plugin? I figure we already have nongaming media on wiiflow, with mplayer, what's one more if it isn't too difficult? I realize that there are far more important issues to deal with right now, I just thought I'd throw them out there. Thank you for your time, and have a nice day :)

Good news for everyone, just fixed some fatal things which you guys already noticed :P
-fixed fatal bug in usb mounting (broken timeout for slow hdds)
-fixed devolution usage with slow hdds
-fixed possible bug on usb remount if IOS got changed
-proper shutdown of devices on wiiflow end (boot game, exit to, etc)

What do you guys think, is it worth a 4.0.1 on official wiiflow svn? ;)
