Im using Wiiflow.
Okay, after looking it up I'll have to make a slight correction to my previous post for WiiFlow.

For WiiFlow it's under the [DML] section of the wiiflow.ini file. The setting is dm_r2.1+=
Both the dml_r52+= and the dm_r2.1+= settings have to be set to yes for it to work with DM(L) 2.2 and above.
Like this
dml_r52+=yes
dm_r2.1+=yes

Weirdly enough. When i try to run DML, i always get this error. Even though my copies are 1:1 (Installed it myself). I have tried using CFG Usbloader latest beta version (which i think is version 45) and it always hangs on that screen. Same thing with Usbloader... :/

To answer your question Max, Postloader does support DM 2.2+.
That's cool. Does it auto-detect or is there a setting for DM(L) 2.2+ ... or is it now only compatible with 2.2+ now?

What version of DML do you have?
and is it actually DML (SD) or DM (USB)?

It has an option you set manually. Dios Mios (Lite) 0.x and 1.x will be dropped in the future, but for now they're still supported.

As for the partition moving, if you're saying that the FAT32-32k partition isn't the 1st partition on the drive, this could help

As for the apploader error, it's usually the wrong boot method. There are three boot methods. All the different loaders have settings to change between the three (I've put the DM(L) Booter setting for them in parenthesis but other loaders may use different terms.)
  • (old) The first one was the only way for it to work up until old DML r51 but it would also work up to DML v1.4b as one of two options.
  • (new 2.1-) from old DML r52 up to DML v1.4b both the first and second boot methods worked. In DML v1.5 the first boot method was removed so DML v1.5 and DM v2.0 and v2.1 need the second boot method to be set
  • (new 2.1+) In DM(L) v2.2 the boot method was changed to the third so both DML v2.2 and DM v2.2 need the third boot method to be set.

News on this setting/error. The new version of USB Loader GX, r1202
here : http://www.mediafire...1voyas284vs6qiv
detects the right setting automatically, avoiding this error completely
(unless you try to use DM (USB) when it should be DML (SD), then you still apparently get the error no matter what setting you set, but would by your own fault.)

http://gbatemp.net/t...s-off-a-usb-hdd I followed this tutorial, use 2.2, and obviously use a USB. Where to I change the settings in GX in to be 2.2 compatible? Is it obvious... because I don't know what to do.
The easiest way now with GX is just to upgrade to the latest version I linked to in the post above. Just replace the file /apps/usbloader_gx/boot.dol with the one in the 249 file in the above download.

The NEW version detects and takes care of that setting for you.

I already have that version of the .dol for my 249 ios. I'm trying to load Wind Waker, and then hopefully a hacked melee iso. I have dios mios installed, that dol like I said, I'm loading from my usb, and I have a wii disc in it and I get this error. What am I doing wrong? (I can use my capture card to show you what I do)

I'll post this over on the main GX thread to see if it's an error with GX and I'll have to keep doing some testing myself then. The setting would have been removed from the menu on that version, though. Do you happen to have multiple installations on different partitions or could you be using a non-forwarder channel maybe?

Non forwarder channel? Hmm? I used Multi Mod Manager to install the Dios Mois 2.2 mod, downloaded the usb gx from the guide I said I used, and did infact replace it with that dol, and I still got this error. Where do I change it, is it meant to be automatic?

Do you open GX from a channel in the System Menu (what I'm talking about) or directly from the HBC (where it wouldn't matter) ?

It starts up the gamecube game in the drive, I tried it with my copy of pikmin
Okay, you got me stumped. I'm going to copy our conversation over to the main GX thread to see what the experts say but the closest thing I could say is see if you can go back to the previous version of GX and look for something like "boot method" or "DM(L) version" in the settings.

My Internet connection is pretty lame so maybe in another situation but that's an interesting site. I'll have to look into it myself.

EDIT : We'll see if we can get an answer back at the main thread and I'll see if I can get the name of that setting for you when I'm near my Wii again.
