I see them all the time, last year they were $400. I see they dropped down a lot.
Only thing I know is that they come with those 3D glasses that gets rid of the split screen in multiplayer games.

I'm tempted. If I sell off the PS3 game that comes with it, and sell off my current 19 inch monitor the price might be worth it. Anyone tried it personally?

They really came down in price, used to be $500

be aware that there is no remote
you might be able to program a universal remote to work with it, the official ps3 remote should work with it (which works with any brand tv afaik)

it should be ok used as a regular computer screen

the game sells for $20 now so you can probably get $15 or so on resale

Looks like a pretty good deal to me, you're getting a game, the HDMI cable, the 3D glasses and the TV.
Only thing that would make this the perfect deal is if something other then Motorstorm came with the bundle.

$200 -3D TV
+$20 -2 Year Warranty
--------
$220
-$15 -Selling off PS3 game
---------
$205
-100~ -Selling off old monitor
-----------
$105

Not bad for a 3D TV. I'll definitely grab one if I can. They go for a few dollars less used on eBAY, but that doesn't include the warranty. Of course buying the remote would add a few dollars on it, but still worth it.

I've heard horrible things about them.

Tons of crosstalk/ghosting, breaks down easily, glossy surface, visible dithering and colour problems. It's not really worth it even for $200.

$100 for a used 19" screen?
I see ads in bb / staples / newegg every week for 21" led screens for like $90-100

Just going by some eBAY listings. That's also why I put a ~ beside it.

Edit: Really SS? Eh, I need to research it a bit more, but those are big turnoffs.

Pretty interesting, I haven't tried it yet, but I will get it soon,

my PS3 randomly stopped reading discs, so my sister's co-worker (at best buy) can get it replaced for any PS3 for free. This is included! I choose this, and ill probably give my opinion on this.

I have one and I like it very much.

Pros
-Its playstation branded. It might not mean anything to most common mortals but for a gamer like I it makes me want to have it.
-The picture quality is just awesome.1080p I don't see what lag youre talking about but if you intend to use this as a computer monitor you will not regret it.
-It looks good it kind of look like a psp.
-its 3D and does it right for this price you cannot whine

Cons
-Glasses are 50-70$ a pair.
-speakers are cheap as hell. they just don't sound very good
-Only 2 HDMI ports; on todays standards thats just not enough
-No remote

Eh it's kind of you against all those other people having issues. Mainly will be using it for consoles, maybe you're getting a better experience since you're using it as a computer monitor?

I suppose so. I mean if I have issues, that's what the 2 year warranty is for. Hm. I do have a Sony Google TV at my father's, and that TV is great besides the input lag. Makes it so I literally can not play any games, which bites. Question now would be would a person with a Xbox 360 find much use out of this? I mean I saw that Black Ops, and Batman Arkham City can use 3D. I could use it as a monitor once I get a new desktop. Looks like it, I might see if someone will trade one locally for one.

there is probably alot more ps3 games using 3d then there is 360 games
almost every sony first party game has 3d now

you will see some use just not a ton, if you do happen to have a blu-ray player also you can watch 3d movies on that

depending on your cable/sat provider you can also use it for tv (very small amount of stuff in 3d right now)
