Hey there. I'm sure this topic is covered already somewhere here. I need a little help.

I have a semi-bricked wii. NTSC-U. Typical "file system corrupted" message. I cannot remember the method of repair.

This Wii, is both hardmodded and softmodded. I have dumps from Signcheck, and another program that outputs "titles.txt"

I wish to use NUSDownloader as I have NO wireless connection. I need to know what files to grab.

I understand fully that it is System Menu 4.1u. In PriiLoader it has: IOS v60, System Menu v449.

Anyone who can help all I can say is thank you. If the topic is already here...please post it.

I thought about MODMii, if I remember right, I could use it to "dl" everything necessary to replace a courrpted SysMen 4.1u.

Anyway, Priiloader still works, HBC still works though old, and Bootmii works, however it is not on Boot2.

Thx

p.s., if you need the dumps mentioned above, feel free to ask.

I recommend you use ModMii to download and install/reinstall all of the recommended IOS files on your Wii (it uses NUSDownloader). Just follow the instructions. It will download System Menu 4.1, but I recommend that you don't install it at first because installing a fresh copy of your system menu will erase Priiloader. If that doesn't solve your problem but you're able to get into the Homebrew Channel without Priiloader, then try installing the fresh copy of System Menu 4.1.

Also, I recommend you update your Homebrew Channel using the latest HackMii Installer.

Tricky, but I understand. Thanks for mentioning the removal of Priiloader, I would have missed that. I of course, would like to avoid that at all costs, because that IS how I access Bootmii. In theory though, if I can get back to the system menu after fixing it, then it's all good because I could just re-mod the wii all over again, I know that's tedious and time consuming but what the hell. :)

I have checked out ModMii, man there are alot of options. I'm almost not sure which ones to choose for this method.

Using ModMii to reinstall the recommended IOS/cIOS files should not delete the Homebrew Channel or force you to have to re-mod your Wii all over again.

Okay, forgive me please. I am knowledgeable, but please consider I had modded this many moons ago, and never had problems afterword, so I really need a little brushing up. ModMii, I NEVER used to mod my wii, I did it the old school way, without CIOSCorp or any crap like that.

In Modmii I am choosing:

W-Wizard
1rst time modding=No
Currnet Sys: 4.1
Region:U
DL active IOSs and some extra brick Prot=N
Selct SysMen upgrade/down to=4.1
Like to install channels=I really don't know.
Install or update the following (Homebrew Chan, Rec cIOSs, yawmm, ios236 etc )=JUST NOT SURE, I mean, most of this is already present on the Wii.

Thx Lacius for your patience and time.

OR, is there a link to a database that let's us know what each system menu contains (i.e. ios's required, channels if needed) at all out there?

If not, I'd be interested in compiling one. I may even mention to the author of modmii, to make one more option in ModMii that let's someone just get all the necessary files if they do not know what files are necessary. :)

Hey, just wanted to say thanks. I restored it, it's fully functional again. Still has Priiloader, still has bootmii, still works! Thanks again Lacius.
